Day 5: Dusty RhodesEvery day, I'll post a wrestler who has never won the WWE Championship and we'll vote on whether or not he deserved to win the belt during his time there. When we run out of interesting people, we'll have a battle royal with all of the people who got more yes votes than no votes! In your voting, consider whether or not it would have been wise to put the belt on the worker at the time of his run, not just whether or not he was a worthy champion. For example, Jake Roberts would have no doubt been a great champion, but was it smart to put the belt on him at the height of Hulkamania? That's up for discussion. Past Results:-Day 1: Mr. Perfect (Yes: 24, No: 11) -Day 2: Raven (Yes: 6, No: 18) -Day 3: Razor Ramon (Yes: 15, No: 14) -Day 4: The Hurricane (Yes: 3, No: 24) -Day 5: Dusty Rhodes (Yes: 5, No: 14)

No
In his WWF run I could see him more as a IC champion but not a world champion.

No. He was there for part of 1989 until the early part of 1991 and in that time it was Hogan/Warrior and Dusty was in the twilight of his career.
