I almost crapped my pants when I saw that. Damn my second favorite wrestler ever gone. Where will I get my Angle fix of the week? I'm sad now

Oh my God, no. f***.
This is shit news. This is not the thing I want to come home to after eleven hours of work. This is awful. My favourite wrestler, gone. Just like that. This is horrible.
Oh, well I guess I can still watch Tatanka, Great Kahli, Batista, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Eugene, Visce... I can't even joke at this time.

I did hear that he absolutely hated being the GM on smackdown, that it drove him crazy not being able to wrestle. So I doubt he would be happy with a non-wrestling role of any kind. Poor Kurt. He's only been a pro-wrestler since like 2000, and he's already a legend.
Perhaps he can do a HBK and return after a few years off.

Who was it made that thread about what'll happen when Kurt dies? It was a jinx. He's not dead, but he's gone.

Guys.
Guys.
Guys.
He's not gone forever. The man just needs to get his head straight. He desperately needs to, regardless of what Angle thinks.

He'll be back and better than ever. If anything this is a good thing, it'll give him a chance to recover and come back for his final run. It's for the best.

Does any one think TNA will try to pick him up? I think he's loyal to the WWE, but no one matches his love for wrestling so you never know if he would show up down in Florida just to keep on doing what he loves.

This really saddens me. Kurt's one of my favorite wrestlers. From the wording of the article, it sounds like he asked for the release instead of just being told by WWE to get the f*** out and wishing him well in his futue endeavours.
I'll miss the guy and I hope he sorts out his health and other personal issues as quickly as possible. Even if Kurt never steps foot inside a ring again, I just want his life to be as happy as it can be.

I really hope he comes back. He was, if not, the greatest worker for the entire company right now. Since it says he was granted an early release, I think this was a request from Angle, which is a surprise since I thought at this point the guy would never quit.
Hopefully, Angle gets his stuff straighten out and comes back when he's fully ready.

I think Kurt should take about 3 years off. Sort out all his personal and halth problems as best he can. His return will be amazing. I hope WWE use him in one of their films. They should put him in a rom-com. His little wrestlemania promo with Christy Hemme was fun.
And if they don't do that they could always have him as Smackdown commontator. Then they could sack JBL and we can escape his racism.

This is what I wrote about it in another forum:
From a business standpoint, this is stupid considering that Angle is one of the WWE's top wrestling talents. But from a personal standpoint, this is good for Angle since Angle is on the brink of going the way of The Dynamite Kid and possibly getting paralyzed for life or even dying in the ring via a botched move onto his neck. I wish Angle the best in his life, but sadly, I just know that TNA wants to get Angle right about now for the big Samoa Joe/Angle dream match, but I'd rather think about the man's health than potential money making matches.

It makes sense from a business standpoint too because if he gets paralyzed they cannot use him any more. Let him rest up and he'll be able to work for longer thus earning the company more money. In his time off they can release a Kurt DVD thus making them some money whilst he is away from the company.
