Day 8: Kerry Von EricEvery day, I'll post a wrestler who has never won the WWE Championship and we'll vote on whether or not he deserved to win the belt during his time there. When we run out of interesting people, we'll have a battle royal with all of the people who got more yes votes than no votes! In your voting, consider whether or not it would have been wise to put the belt on the worker at the time of his run, not just whether or not he was a worthy champion. For example, Jake Roberts would have no doubt been a great champion, but was it smart to put the belt on him at the height of Hulkamania? That's up for discussion. Past Results:-Day 1: Mr. Perfect (Yes: 24, No: 11) -Day 2: Raven (Yes: 6, No: 18) -Day 3: Razor Ramon (Yes: 15, No: 14) -Day 4: The Hurricane (Yes: 3, No: 24) -Day 5: Dusty Rhodes (Yes: 5, No: 14) -Day 6: Brian Pillman (Yes: 5, No: 19) -Day 7: Ken Shamrock (Yes: 15, No: 8)

While he was definitely talented and charismatic, he was also a total mess by the time he went to the WWF. If he was clean, I'd say yes, but given his actual condition, I have to vote no.

No. Kerry Von Erich had a great body and some natural charisma, but he did not really have the strongest personality and mic skills. Also, he was not quite the same with the prosthetic foot. If he had gone to WWE in the early/mid 1980s when Vince first wanted him, he might well have been groomed for the world title. Reportedly Vince loved his look in the early '80s and considered him in a role similar to what Hogan received.
