i can only assume they'd film in HD as soon as HD becomes a viable format... Not saying it isn't a viable format, but it hasn't reached a certain acceptance level yet... And, excuse me if I'm wrong, but I didn't think USA, Sci-Fi, or UPN (the soon-to-be CW) film anything in HD...

Namely, Everybody Hates Chris.

My guess is that they'll start when USA goes to a HD format. Most if not all broadcasts on TV will be in HD by 2008 so my guess is that the WWE aren't that far behind.

Better picture quality on HD Tvs. ...woo hoo? Yes, woo hoo!! My folks own a HDTV big screen and the shows that are in HD are uber clear and very "sharp." I will let Wikipedia explain... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDTV

For the people who STILL don't know what HD is, I will say now that there is a tremendous difference between HD and SD.
After you've been on HD for a while, it's hard to go back. WWE looks like such crap to me.. Damn it Vinnie, move forward!

I concur. I'd love to see a broadcast in widescreen HD. Not that I'm particularly interested in seeing each and every nose hair in HHH's huge schnozz, but HD would be appreciated, even if it's just on SNME. Or a PPV for that matter. Nothing's stopping them from broadcasting in HD. Vince is a billionaire, right? ;D

For all those people who think that WWE in HD is a good idea, I have two words for ya: Vince's Ass. Right. We were saying?

Pretty soon, I believe Feb 18 2009 is the target date for a 100% roll over to HD. It's Federal Law in Canada.....so, hopefully, by then.

Funny you mention it, WWE will begin testing in HD in a few weeks time with a SmackDown show. If all goes well, we could be seeing WWE programming in HD sooner than you think.
Which is great for me, as I have both a HD TV and a SkyHD satellite receiver.
