Namor by far. He's more of a mythological take on an Atlantean king, as opposed to a superheroic version. Also, he's a much more rounded and interesting character.

Namor. Been around forever, but hasn't gotten so stale that he needs to die 15 times to be interesting.

Namor. He's smug, arrogant, ill-tempered, and all around badass. Aquaman is...........well............Aquaman.

Namor is actually an interesting anti-hero. Aquaman is the type of character writers have to go out of their way to make interesting (i.e. what Justice League cartoons did to him).

Namor, if only because he has the balls to hit on the smartest guy on Earth's wife constantly, and he feels no shame about it.

Namor, and I don't even dislike Arthur to the extent of the meme of disliking him, it's just that Namor's always been presented as the more interesting character; and kind of a badass. From his occasional villainous turns to going toe to toe with say the Hulk or Iron Man, he's just more interesting.

Namor, for all of the reasons already expressed. Plus, he's an Avenger from back when being one mattered, and that in and of itself gets cool points from me.

I kinda used to like Aquaman more because he was the nicer superhero to be around, but then I saw Namor rip Venom's tongue right out of his mouth and beat the living shit out of him, and now I love Namor and think he rocks!

Aquaman is underrated and can be very badass, but he has nothing on Namor.

Aquaman is king of Atlantis too, and DC > Marvel, so Aquaman wins.

Aquaman is king of Atlantis too, and DC > Marvel, so Aquaman wins. Dc also has Bizarro......who sees things backwards.........so in reality..........Marvel>DC, yeah, that's about right

I think probably in comics Namor is better than Aquaman. However I feel Aquaman would translate to screen much better than Namor. The thing is Namor doesn't come off as sympathetic most of the time and he can heroic, but at the same time comes off as very cold which I doubt audiences would get. He'd maybe make a decent villain in a Fantastic Four movie, but thats about it for Namor.
However as Aquaman goes he's basically a blank slate. No one really knows anything about his back story except he can communicate with sea life. So you can take liberties with his character and not get people mad if they change things and if written by a good writer it could make Aquaman man really cool. Also if DC wants to do a Justice League movie it'd make sense to introduce him first and get people familiar with him. I mean they are doing a Superman reboot, Batman 3, Green Lantern. So it could make sense to do that and also do Wonder Woman and The Flash. I mean who wouldn't want to see a Justice League movie. So right now that makes Aquaman more important since I doubt people would be clamoring to see Namor in The Avengers.

Aquaman loses. Namor is a more powerful character and much more interesting. Aquaman also has the Superfriends that is holding him back.
