Agent Coulson will probably do the Gyrich role of the government link. They really should add the Wasp - massive sausage-fest at the moment. Uh, Black Widow says Nyet. Fixed for my amusement.

Coulson's a SHIELD agent, though. ...and not a douchewad like Gyrich. Bit redundant with Fury there. Fury's role will be small, Jackson's a lazy bastard when it comes to these films. Coulson will be liason there more. That's my guess anyway. Agent Coulson will probably do the Gyrich role of the government link. They really should add the Wasp - massive sausage-fest at the moment. Uh, Black Widow says hi. One girl and all those guys is still a sausage-fest. My comment stands

Mark Ruffalo? I thought the whole point of a shared movie universe was to use the same actors in every movie. Edward Norton got fired for supposedly being a dick.

Which goes back to when iHulk was coming out, they jacked Norton around, gave him some power as far as story and production went, then cut everything he came up with. Supposedly he had a cut of the film he wanted to release on home video, and Marvel has refused.

From what I could tell by the alternate opening (which had Banner trying to shoot himself), it seemed like he wanted to do more with the internal struggle between Banner and the Hulk rather than the "HULK SMASH!" movie that we got. Now, I did enjoy "The Incredible Hulk," but I think I would have preferred it to have a little more thought put into it.

From what I remember he wanted to play up the psychological side from the Peter David comics more. But after Ang Lee's did the psycho-drama, Marvel wanted to do the exact opposite, rather than, you know, strike a balance. Put the two movies together, you have a damn near perfect Hulk flick, instead we got to half good movies for different reasons.
