Shouldn't Antman and Wasp be there?

Not gonna lie; I wish Antman and Wasp were part of this. But, admittedly, the movie would be bogged down if too many were added, and Hawkeye's inclusion makes up for their absence.

I still wish it was just the four that actually matter and Fury but eh, split on whether or not to see the movie. Iron Man is great (moreso the original, but enjoyed both), Hulk was good, and Thor and Captain America.... They don't look it. Plus given the way sequels are usually worse, Whedon's a hack, and there's probably going to barely be a plot.... Yeah, I'm torn on it.

Mark Ruffalo? I thought the whole point of a shared movie universe was to use the same actors in every movie.

Lot of dudes on that Avengers team. I'd hate to be in the locker room when they "assemble", am I right? Right?

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I hated Iron Man, and am indifferent to everything I've seen so far regarding the Cap and Thor movies, but I am a big Joss Whedon fan. If it stands on it's own, I'll probably see it, but if I have to watch Iron Man 2, Thor, etc. to understand the plot, I'll pass.
This does however anger me that my preferred comic company DC, which is owned by freaking Warner Brothers, can't get it together and get a Justice League movie happening. By the time they get their act together, everyone will be burned out on superheroes from the Marvel movies and won't give a crap.

2012 is going to be one hell of a good year for comic book geeks. This, Batman 3, Superman and I believe two or three other superhero flicks are coming out then.

Mark Ruffalo? I thought the whole point of a shared movie universe was to use the same actors in every movie. Which happens when you don't cause a rift with said actors. Norton and Marvel never really seemed to get along and it came to a head a few weeks back.

Disappointed at Hawkeye & Black Widow being there instead of Ant-Man or Wasp, but it's not a deal breaker. (Nothin' against the two, but they weren't the last of the founding members.)
And LAWL at them acting like Coulson's a member of the team. Admittedly, I haven't seen Iron Man II yet so I may have missed him doing something awesome, but all he did in the first one was put a bomb on a door.

I'm....semi-excited for this movie. The cast and hero lineup looks great, but Whedon's a hack, and, knowing him, the movie will be all about Black Widow and how she's a one woman powerhouse capable of taking out whatever villain they encounter singlehandedly while spouting quips non-stop. If Whedon can avoid his bad habits, then it should be great. If it turns into the typical "Whedon" thing, then I won't be interested.

Agent Coulson will probably do the Gyrich role of the government link.
They really should add the Wasp - massive sausage-fest at the moment.

I'm guessing he'll just be Fury's assistant or something.
