I used to ride it everywhere I went. I put a string on it so I could pull it up hills that were to steep. I raced anybody, anytime. That big wheel and me were inseparable. How I loved it's bright red wheel and it's blue seat. The ghostbuster and garbage pail kids stickers placed ever so proudly upon it's fram . I rode that thing until the day it was impossible to do so. I remember getting on the seat after a long winters wait. Putting my feet on the peddles and pushing with all my might just to watch the wheel spin on the ground as I remained motionless. Alas I had grown to heavy for my beloved big wheel. It was truly a sad day.

I turned mine upside down and turned the peddles by hand yelling, "Ice cream. Ice cream."

If I ever win the lottery or something, one of my useless purchases will be those adult-sized Big Wheels.

I had a Pac-man one. the big wheel was his face with a section cut out and on each spoke was painted a dot so he was eating pellets as ya peddled.
Twas awesome.

See, I have no super strong memories of my big wheel, but I do recall needing it to traverse even the slightest of distances. I want to say it was red with a robotic theme of some sort. Makes sense, as I wanted to be a robot until I was six.

I had a Silver and Black big wheel. It was quite awesome. I miss those days of youth and innocence.

I had a black one with a yellow handle. I loved it, my dad even mounted a nut and bolt on the back as a "trailer hitch" so I could tow my bro's Radio Flyer wagon or tie cans to it or whatever.
I lived two houses away from my grandparents (who babysat me) with a back alley with only four houses connected so I rode it down there alot.
Then my legs got too long for it (and I had a scooter) so I sold it to my gram for $15.

I had the KITT Big Wheel. Envy me. I will not envy you! I had the same one. I had it too, but now you can all be jealous of me because when I got it into a wreck, it was replaced by a big wheel version of the Road Ripper from Masters Of The Universe.

screw the Big Wheel, I had one of these! Holy s***, I was just about to talk about my Green Machine...I had copied a link and everything, and then I look down the page and see this. You were not alone, sir! I used to ride this and would scream when it would get up to speed. This is what it looks like today: www.sportsauthority.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3236308&cid=nextag
