I dunno if it does, I'm asking.
Check the stuff you agree with, and we'll see what's the most common attribute of us all.

I write and throw things right handed, but I golf left handed and can bat right or left handed.

It seems we have a low self esteem issue with writing, here.

I'm the son of a doctor and I'm pretty sure bad penmanship is genetic.

I actually just wrote a note to one of my online friends today to show her how bad my handwriting is. I showed another friend my handwriting a few months ago and his comment was, and I saved the quote, "THAT LOOKS LIKE YOU HIRED A RETARDED CHILD AND BEAT HIS HAND TO A PULP BEFORE YOU ALLOWED HIM TO WRITE FOR YOU". I use a lazy cross between cursive and non-cursive. My handwriting is TERRIBLE. Even I can't read it half the time. I'm ambidextrous. I write mostly with my right hand, but wrote with my left as a kid. I'm capable of writing with my left hand now, but I'm not as used to the hand motions anymore, so it takes me a bit longer. The thing with me, though, is that I'm dyslexic - I don't know how a lot of words are spelled, I just have the motions to write (and it's the same with typing) the words memorized. If I'm writing a word I've never written before, I tend to spaz out and all the letters are in random places and put on top of each other and stuff =P So when I write familiar words with my left hand, the reason it takes longer is mostly because I'm trying to force myself not to do it backwards :B As far as other things with which hands I use, it varies a lot. I found out just recently that most people put their knife in their right hand to cut meat while eating. I use my left and thought that was normal I sew using both hands. When I skateboarded, my dominant foot was my left instead of my right, but I kick with my right foot. I tend to be all over the place. Also, I'm a decent artist. I'm good at drawing but my special brand of dyslexia causes me to not understand spacial relationships at all, so sometimes I have trouble with seeing things that I'm drawing in 3D.

My hand writing is fantastic and non-cursive (as well as tiny), except when I'm taking notes, then they're only scribbles I can read, which is fine.
I blame yer fancy word processors and the like on the deterioration of hand writing skills among you crazy kids who may or may not be older than me.

I'm pretty sure I've had a teacher tell me my handwriting is illegible every year since Kindergarten.

My hand writing looks like a schizophrenic is writing. The letters are all different sizes, caps in the middle of no where, sometimes within the same paragraph the style changes completely. In fact, I would say my handwriting is more like scribbles than handwriting. It really is awful.
But I think it's awesome.

I write left handed, so if it's pencil it's smudged to all hell. (Pens I usually avoid this) I also tend to get lazy especially signing my name which leads to sort of long drawn out ~ type markings. Like my last name you can make out Kn in cursive and then basically a long barely curved ~ type line. If I'm in a hurry, this translates into other words.
I don't write much, however, mainly notes if I leave. My dad's grumbled a few times unable to read them, but my mom says she always knows where I'm at as she can figure out the first letters or two in a sentence and get the rest. I think the main problem is my dad has very neat handwriting. My mom's is pretty neat too.
But I wouldn't trade being lefthanded for anything. Especially since it got me out of calligraphy in Art Class. (I was the only lefty in the class sans the teacher. He filled out my big page as an example and told me I was exempt and that he only had to learn it since he was going into teaching and the budget wouldn't cover enough calligraphy paper to be smudged by ink.)

My handwriting is only illegible if I write too fast or am in a rush, other wise it is rather neat. I had one teacher call it "Spiders Legs" because I tend to make the letters tall, thin and join together.

Writes: Right / Throws: Left I've been told by many my handwriting is very neat. Don't use joined writing or cursive. My handwriting is always on point. Average drawer at best.

My handwriting sucks. Horribly. If a handwriting expert ever analyzed my writing I am sure I'd be told I have some kind of major personality disorder based on it. I'm also a lefty - so that means I'm forver smearing the ink as I write. I got a lot of flack for being a lefty. I draw. One interesting thing I've notice now is that thanks to the net, my handwriting has gotten even worse. I barely write anything now and if I write for any amount of time I notice my hand gets sore. Wonder if that happens to anyone else.
