Amazon has leaked 22 more songs that will be in Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock. With the CBGB venue, I expected it to have a Bad Brains and Ramones track but I was hoping for different songs than they picked.
Alice Cooper - No More Mister Nice Guy (2010 re-record) Alter Bridge - Ties that Bind Atreyu - Ravenous Bad Brains - Re-Ignition Blue Oyster Cult - Burnin For You Bush - Machinehead Deep Purple - Burn Edgar Winter Group - Free Ride Five Finger Death Punch - Hard to See George Thorogood and the Destroyers - Move It On Over (Live) Lynyrd Skynyrd - Call Me the Breeze (Live) Pantera - I'm Broken Poison - Unskinny Bop (2006) Ramones - Spiderman Rise Against - Savior The Runaways - Cherry Bomb (2010 re-record) Steve Vai - Speed Strung out - Calling Styx - Renegade Sum 41 - Motivation Them Crooked Vultures - Scumbag Blues White Stripes - Seven Nation Army
Here's a video with Alice Cooper and the Runaways talking about re-recording their tracks for Guitar Hero:

Ah brilliant, that means that I'm Broken will be out on Rock Band 3 then Maybe, but "Cowboys from Hell" was in Guitar Hero Smash Hits so maybe they have exclusive rights to different Pantera songs.

I doubt it, if anything they have no exclusive rights to Cowboys at all, because it was a live version.

God damn Rock Band 3 and Warriors of Rock are setting up to be maybe the best releases in both of the franchises' history (save for Beatles: Rock Band)

I doubt it, if anything they have no exclusive rights to Cowboys at all, because it was a live version. From what I've heard, the masters for Pantera's "Cowboys from Hell" and "A Vulgar Display of Power" albums were destroyed or are in too bad of shape to use in these games. Which is why they had to use the live version of "Cowboys From Hell" in GH:SH.

It can still be done however, it's just too excruciating for them to bother, every song in Rock Band: The Beatles had no master track available.

Nice. I'll definitely be picking this up in a year or two when the price drops to a ridiculous level due to mass production.
Thorogood FTW.

Interesting story... www.usatoday.com/tech/gaming/2010-08-03-soundgarden03_ST_N.htm?csp=34tech"Black Rain" by Soundgarden will apparently be in Warriors of Rock, an unreleased song they did in 1991. And their "best of" album, "Telephantasm" will be included with the first wave of releases as well, pretty much insuring them of platinum status, as well as the album being "Day One DLC" for it. Smart move on their part. Even if the DLC doesn't sell great (it seems as if they're charging for it), they're going to get a platinum record and gamers get an incentive to buy early.

Other than Dillinger Escape Plan, I'm not feeling the last set of songs. Making me feel a bit better about not playing this game. I just wish there were some DEP songs on Rock Band.

Rockin' in the Free World?
SOLD.
Although I'd rather have it in Rock Band, but I'm not going to complain.
