WrestleMania easily. There isn't even... you know... wrestling moves. And it takes forever to beat the opponent as when you're about to empty their health bar, they suddenly start running away and turning around like crazy which prevents you from finishing them! there is a lot of chat about the no mercy video game on here, i never had an n64 but did play a wrestling game on it a couple of times, it was just after jericho joined and i was surprised he was in it as it was out at about the same time. is this no mercy? why is no mercy continually name dropped? was it because it was good or bad? worst game ever was thunder on the playstation No Mercy was awesome and remains one of the best pro wrestling games ever! It also had a great CAW mode for the time. The only thing that bothers me about it is that the career modes had quite a few nearly impossible gimmick matches that you had to win in order to progress, and some needed to do something special on top of winning pinning a particular opponent, winning under a certain amount of time, etc...), and even when you turned the difficulty to beginner (knowing I usually play on normal or even hard mode), some of them remained very hard to win, especially handicap matches.

My vote went to other because of this. I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be Sting and Michael PS Hayes. There was apparently a version for the original Game Boy titled "The Main Event." I've never seen or played it, but I did suffer through the NES version a number of times. I had the main event on GB and it is bad

WWF King Of The Ring (Game Boy)
That game sucked so hard and broke all promises. The music was REALLY bad even for Game Boy standards. You could drain your opponents energy only by punching and kicking, while slams and suplexes had no effect. The "CAW" was the WORST EVER, since you could only set up some ability points (that had no effect). Your wrestler always had the name "YOU" and was 6'0'', 250 lbs.
There were some bad games afterward but none was as disappointing as this one.

Other - WWF Wrestlemania (NES) Only redeeming part was the theme songs (they even had stand back! In 8-bit midi format even!) Touche, sir. Having "Stand Back" in glorious 8-bit format would be that game's only redeeming quality.

The one thing that stands out is IRS's theme being a typewriter!

In my head, I always figured it was money being flipped through, but really it was nothing more than a typewriter.

I had an idea a couple of months ago that they should re-name Randy Orton "You", because he looks like that generic guy they'd have in Wrestlemania Challenge. Then, when he'd win the title, Howard Finkel could announce, "The winner and NEW World Wrestling Entertainment Heavyweight Champion...YOU!" The worst is M.U.S.C.L.E., and I was a big M.U.S.C.L.E. figure collector. Hell, I still create gimmicks and matches for them to this day. My brother got the game for my birthday one year and it cost $1. It was $1 too much. I'll play it time and again against my 7 year old son, who finds it interesting.

WCW Wrestling for the NES. I loathed that game.

I'd go with the first Wrestlemania game for the NES. i agree with this. awful, from my memory you only had puch, kick, and maybe 1-2 more moves per character. what makes it worse is that the older, non-licensed 'pro-wrestling' is a far, far superior game. there really wasnt any reason they had to come out with a steaming pile like this, when at the worst they could have directly copied the template of the other.

Even though a lot of people played it, The original Wrestlemania. Completely uneven roster of characters, and in it you have to be either Hogan or Andre. Blade claimed that he could beat anyone as Ted Dibiase. RD pointed out that while BamBam does his cartwheel, he can't be hit and the game will grind to a halt. Awful.
