Where did this term originate? I'm guessing it's from a Dusty promo. Does anyone have a video of it?

I remermber he used to say it a lot on the old WCW saturday shows. I'm guessing it was in reference to how at a horsetrack if you won your bet you go to the pay window with your ticket. Although even as a kid who still thought it was real I thought the loser still got paid too albeit way less than what the winner got.
I also pictured there were two separate locker rooms. The good guys locker room which was clean and looked like a penthouse and the bad guys lockerroom which was dirty, had graffiti allover the walls, leaky pipes, a spittoon in the corner, along with splintery wooden benches.

I have also heard the term "pay window" used to describe the area at a drive-through restaurant where you pay for your food but do not pick up the food. Even though Dusty Rhodes is probably very familiar with these, I doubt he was referring to these. I bet it has something to do with a place where you hand a check or a winning ticket to a window and collect your money, as the above examples have mentioned.

I thought Gorrilla Monsoon said somthing like this also, but I could be getting that mixed up.
The winner gets paid more was the statement. Dusty always used it that I listened to him.

The Pay Windah is where you would go to pick up the winner's share of the purse
