Eh, he actually surprised me. He had mic skills and seemed to enjoy his time there.
Yeah, TNA should have never brought him in, but it wasn't a complete disaster like other celebrity stints turned out to be (see: Leno, Jay).

He was decent on the mic, he had some charisma and personality, and they managed to use him quite well without him actually wrestling. I think it's one of the better celebrity wrestling things we've had, and the controversy got them some publicity.

If Adam Jones led to TNA realizing that they shouldn't waste Ron Killings, then some good came out of it.

plus we got consequences creed when he stepped down from team pacman. plus he gave us
football spiked in low-ki's nuts leapfrogging buh buh and throwing a football at his head spray painting people making it rain for a distraction only to have hebner see the money falling and start going after it instead of counting the pin
plus always used in tag team fashion so 3 of 4 workers could wrestle, and i would prefer seeing a team pacman match to random celeb who actually tries to wrestle and looks awful.

It may not've been the worst celebrity involvement the wrestling world has seen but was a giant waste of money since they were paying him large sums of money to not wrestle. $25,000 a night to not take bumps. Awesome for him but for the roster? not so much

I thought it was awful. In general, outside celebs aren't a great move. But at least Lawerence Taylor, and Dennis Rodman, were allowed to actually compete. It wasn't a bad idea to try and get some publicity, but it was an awful idea, not only to make him an active competitor when he wasn't legally allowed to get physical, but to put a belt on him. Now it wasn't all bad. It got the spotlight on Killings and Creed. But really, it achieved nothing else. There was no significant ratings hike, and I seriously doubt any football fans said: "Y'know, I can't think of a single thing to do with this money. I think I'll spend it to watch Pacman Jones not wrestle on PPV." It screamed bad idea from the start. And unless your name is Ron Killings, or Consequences Creed, it was.

At least some one named Vince wasn't winning the championship. (Stab at both WWE & WCW)
