What's the cheapest place to buy title belt replicas. I'm not looking for toy belts, but the replicas that look just like the real title belts. I'm looking for the cheapest WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship belt(198?-1998) replica that I can find. I'm hoping to spend around $100 or less, but I can probably get $150 together if I scrape around. I don't mind if it's used, or even dinged up a bit.
Have any of you bought title belt replicas? Are they worth the money? I've wanted to for a long time, but until now, I never had anywhere near enough disposable income to even consider getting one.
Which belts have you guys bought? Why that particular belt. I've always thought that the old IC belt was the best looking title belt in pro wrestling, and that it would be cool to be IC Champion one day. This may be the closest I'll ever come to holding this belt for real. And, if I ever do happen to become IC Champ, maybe I can wear my replica belt instead of the real one from time to time.
I can't wait to get the belt. I'll wear it alot. I'll be walking down the street with it on. This will get me so many chicks :-P

Living in Germany, I really want a WWE European Championship, but no way you get any replica belt for anything less than $150 if you want it in good shape.

I know I guy who ordered a belt from him. www.midwestwrestling.com/championshipbelts/belts.htmIt will cost you more than $100 for any quality belt, though. You could try eBay and see if you could get an authentic replica for the cheap if you luck out.

So Blade, when you beat Nicole Bass, are you going to have Reggie design your title belt?

You're not going to get much for very cheap, especially the good ones. I'd say search around, starting with Highspots. They seem to have goddamn everything.

the thing about reggie parks is that you're getting a legit title.
this is the guy who made belts for JCW and others. so you're getting the best of the best.
I mean, the dude made a belt for the hip hop chess federation, and we all know how big the hip hop chess federation is.

Highspots is where I checked first, actually. Everything there is so expensive though. The cheapest belts they have are like $250, and there's just no way I can afford that.
Reggie Parks can't give me a replica IC Title belt, as he can't use the WWF Logo. It's a minor detail, yes, but it's important to me. Also, his belts are very expensive as well.
I've not really dound any other online retailers. I've seen ads in old magazines, but they are probnably no longer valid.
Any help is appriciated.

You can get it with the block WWF logo, but it costs an extra $1,000.

Well, if you're after replicas, try ajsbelts.com, they have some pretty nice trade-ins.

[belt mark rant] What's the cheapest place to buy title belt replicas. You want a real belt? Try this guy, Reggie Parks. I know I guy who ordered a belt from him. Just "a guy" that ordered one? What about WWE pre-1999? Reggie Parks isn't just a "guy" who makes belts. He is THE guy who makes belts. I am firmly of the opinion that Reggie Parks and Dave Millican piss excellence. With Midwest, $2,550 will get you a 100%, ABSO-FREAKIN'-LUTELY REAL WWE Intercontinental title belt. And you'd better believe that, if I had that kind of money, that sucker would be sitting in a glass case in my room. Another cool thing you can do is send your replica to Midwest and have them mount it on real leather. I don't know if they've changed them at all for the WWE belts, but the straps on the WCW replicas are stiff as boards and crack at the folds. I cut mine open to see what's inside of it; it's a layer of some kind of weird, sea-foam green material surrounded by the fake "leather," which I can't even describe. It's certainly not leather-like at all. It's kind of rough and it smells funny. And, as you can see from this picture: The edges of the straps have a very rubbery plastic-ish coating, to, I assume, cover the seams of the two pieces of the strap that are glued together. This is what cracks up. Also, that particular belt in this picture is an "ultra deluxe" model, which are over twice as thick as the standard-issue belts. Then again, and, in all fairness, the WCW belts were the first replicas Figures, Inc. made, and that's why I'm not bashing them. I have a WCW US belt and I absolutely adore the thing. I'm 21 years old and, quite often, I get it out just to play with. Another thing I don't like about the replicas is that they're not curved. If you've seen this Gamefly commercial (which I mark for every time I see it), you can see the way the belt is entirely FLAT against him, and the side plate stick straight up off if his shoulder, as opposed to the real belts: Which are rather deeply-curved and form-fitting. You can also see how stiff the strap is in the commercial, and it stays in place without moving at all. It sticks straight out when you're holding it over your shoulder, which irritates me to no end. The real leather is very soft and flexible. But none of this changes the fact that I still want to own EVERY REPLICA THEY MAKE. I'd buy a Big Gold, Winged Eagle, or IC belt in a heartbeat, but I'd definitely give serious, serious thought to having it releathered. I guess the best way to look at it, is you're paying anywhere from half to a tenth of the price of a real belt. They're not perfect, but they're not bad, either, and they also cause uncontrollable marking. Legacy also does some brilliant work at discounted prices. Personally, if I ever needed a piece done, certainly lacking the funds to work with Reggie Parks or Dave Millican, Legacy is where I'd go. Also, for "cheap" belts, I actually dig James Clement's work quite a bit. This is definitely "backyard" stuff, but, come on: HE MAKES A DEMON BELT. Last, and least, Joe Marshall makes the WWE belts presently, as well as ECW classic, and, while there's no denying his work (whatsoever), by all accounts, the dude's a tool and is an absolute nightmare to order from. We're talking turnover rates in the category of YEARS for custom belts. While, obviously, WWE has top priority, that's simply inexcusable. And, the last time I looked, his website was f***ing HORRIBLE; a complete and total mess. (His image gallery is now an uber-professional Flickr page.) I have NO idea how WWE ended up going to him. Plus, he calls himself the freakin' "Beltster." If I'm reading his jumbled-mess-of-a-Hellyeah-playing website correctly, you can buy a legit WWE spinner for $10,000. It's probably a good thing that none of the little Cena marks know this guy exists. And I'll just never forgive him for creating that belt. [/belt mark rant]

I actually don't mind the spinner belt as much as I mind the weird red gems on the world heavy weight championship. cena belt was, to me atleast, an updated version of the belt to go along with the times. the world heavy weight championship belt was remade because no one knows where the real one is... so yeah I get that they had to remake it but why joe marshall (I'm assuming it's joe marshall) decided to put red gems on the belt when the original had no red gems always infuriated me. also another custom belt place that wasn't mentioned yet was wildcat belts, aka the guys who made the chikara tag titles. www.wildcatbelts.com/index.htmcheap too for custom belts

I'll just throw out here that all the WCW World Heavyweight Titles and the first iteration of the RAW World Heavyweight Title replicas featured flat plates, and are now cheaper. The newest version does feature curved plates. So, that Gamefly commercial probably went with the cheapest version they could find.

A close friend of mine ordered a $800 belt from Joe Marshall in 2000. He's still waiting to receive it. That's all I have to say about that.

No one knows where the real Big Gold Belt is my ass. It's in Hulk Hogan's trophy room, with the Jeff Jarrett nameplate still on it. He showed it off in a magazine in 2002.
WWE Should use the same replicas WCW used for the nWo belts. Their current replica looks like, well, a cheap replica belt from Figures Inc.
WWE made a stupid mistake in leaving Reggie Parks. But, they did it for a legitimate reason. They wanted to own their belt designs. Reggie is the world's premier title belt maker. No one does it better.
I've still not found an IC belt I can afford :-( I'll keep looking though. But, with my big pay day just 2 days away, it's looking like I may not be able to find one.
