Is it me, or was Raw last night really heavy on filler? All those interviews with superstars about who's going to win the Cena/Lashley match, the face off, the televised contract signings that have plagued the WWE for years upon years, the matches that just aren't necessary. What's the deal with all the filler? Has creative run out of ideas, or is their latest shipment of mind-altering substances running late?

I just always think from May-SummerSlam has been slow for a couple years. And same with Sept to Survivor Series.

I just always think from May-SummerSlam has been slow for a couple years. And same with Sept to Survivor Series. I thought 2005 summer was actually really good, when Carlito first came over and was still interesting and Cena feuding with Jericho. Also saw the HBK heel against Hogan which was interesting and saw it end with the oversellous thing. Cena drafted to Raw, faced Christian and Jericho in the 3-way. Then Raw became the John Cena marketing express instead of a wrestling show and it torpedoed to lameness. It's had flashes of goodness since then but been boring most of the time. So last time I thought Raw was consistently watchable for a decent period time was summer 2005. Also remember ECW ONS first one. And on Smackdown had Eddie vs Rey before it had dominic stuff. That fall when it all fell apart. --plus had that Benjamin vs Michaels match, and the hype for Matt Hardy's return..LOTS of good stuff around this time. And Vengeance had that good HHH vs Batista HIAC, great end to that feud. Just lots of excellent stuff going on around this time. But wheels came off the wagon.

I don't think its filler, I just think that all the real talent decided they didn't want to deal with "wrestling" anymore. Real talent like Hogan, Hall, Nash, Austin, Rocky, Sid, Scotty Steiner, Tank Abbott, etc..
Uhmmmm . . .
Joking aside, I just think the WWE just doesn't have the talent pool they used to have and they are forced to push people nobody cares about.
- I mean Epistein Ramone (Carlito) -- puhlease.
- A 60 year old Flair that can't even do the Flair flip anymore -- puhlease.
- A black Goldberg? -- puhlease.
- A white rapper Hulk Hogan? -- puhlease.
- A 1950's tag team? BOR-ING!
- Having it clear that Triple H's first opponent will be KING BOOKAH? Not again. (Don't hate the player, hate the game. Like anybody, but me still remembers that one.)
- Santino Marellea? Gorillia and Joey are rolling in their respective graves.
- Hacksaw/Sandman vs. Regal/Carlito -- As much as I love Hacksaw, Regal, and Sandman - why give us such a heat filler feud?
- I can't really rate ECW and Smackdown any more than I have because I only truly watch Raw.

Why is Duggan still on the roster? Have things really gotten that bad?
