Just curious what your favorite moment was wrestling related?
I'd have to say mine was the time I went to a WCW house show during the nWo 2000 run. During David Flair and Crowbar's match against the Harris Brothers, I yelled "DAFFNEY" and due to the fairly dead reaction from the small crowd, I managed to get her attention. With nothing more to say, I blurted out "I LOVE YOU!" She smiled a little and then screamed. It managed to pop the crowd around me some and I even got a pat or two on the back from random strangers.

For me, my greatest wrestling moment was back in 1995. My friend Brian took me to my very first wrestling show ever, and one of the matches was the newly teamed Owen Hart and Yokozuna against the Smoking Gunns.
For some reason, me and my friend were MAJOR Owen and Yoko marks...mostly because we despised the Gunns. We were screaming "Owen! Yoko! Owen! Yoko!" and Yokozuna actually turned and looked up at us and smiled. When Owen gained control of the match, he tagged Yoko in, and Yoko whispered something to him. Owen looked over at us chanting and cheering and sneered "SIT DOWN, PUNKS!" Our response was of course, cheering and screaming like mad men.
The whole time this handicapped kid in front of us was crying and shouting at us to shut up and stop cheering the bad guys. Instead of fighting with him, we laughed and tried to talk him into joining us, using goofy excuses like "but you have to respect Owen Hart, he's a very accomplished wrestler!"
It was a great moment.

Mine is meeting Ric Flair at a book signing. Blade hasn't had his yet... a) Dining with Mimi b) Wrestling Nicole Bass You can combine the two. I've seen this on shows about Japan. They have restaraunts where you eat susi off a naked woman's body. Blade and Mimi can eat raw fish off a naked Nicole Bass then Blade can wrestle her. For Mimi it's dinner and a show

In regards to meeting somebdy? I guess it'd have to be a few winters ago, during the Christmas holidays on a football Sunday. I was at the local sports bar, watching the Lions, when who walks in? One Jonathon Coachman. He was on the way to his family's house, and decided to stop in and watch the Chiefs game. The place was dead that day, so basically it was just me and Coach at a table, shooting the s*** about football for half an afternoon. He was a cool guy.
Runner up would be sitting next to Mick Foley at a table in the local strip club. My friend's were managers at the club, so they called me up and told me he was there. I had actually met him earlier in the day when he was doing a promotion at my brother-in-law's business (that's when I did those interview bits for those old JOTW columns about his old JOTW partners). Another good guy.
Wrestling show wise? Had to be the first ECW show I went to. When we got there, we found out it was a TNN tv taping, and that we were in the front row. Also, got to meet Francine and Balls during the intermission. If you never got a chance to witness ECW live back then, there is no way to accurately describe the atmosphere and feeling of being there. Good times.

I thought he was happily married...

I thought he was happily married... I'm sure he IS happily married. But... 1) Just because you go to a club it doesn't necessarily mean you're some sleezy, cheating, homewrecker. and 2) The minor league hockey team he was in town to do a promo for had ties to the club, so him being dragged in there by THEIR limo was the last stop on the list of the day's activities.

Awesome. Still, hanging with Mick Foley at a strip club is the stuff of awesomeness. Reminds me a little of the time I rode shotgun about 100 miles to get home with a stripper driving who had a suspended license.

I told the stripper she could stay with me, I had bunk beds. (Sadly at that point, I did.)

At this time, mine was meeting Hulk Hogan in Memphis. Feeling this might be the last time he'll ever wrestle, I drove down there to meet him and I did. He even smirked when I called him the "god of wrestling," but hey its Hulk Hogan -- and he was very friendly and professional to all the fans down there.
And I'll admit. I am a straight, 30 year old single male and I was in awe of the man. That man was a childhood hero, and when I saw him from twenty feet away I was going "Holy shit, its really him." I always got a feeling my dad had the same reaction when he saw Elvis Presley in 1974 from 500 feet away from a concert tape I listened to since his passing.
I marked out a little less when I saw Hacksaw at the Raw event in Richmond a few weeks back, but that was cool too. Then again, watching Raw was like being at a live Tv Show -- where you actually got to meet and greet the Memphis guys.
The saddest thing at the Memphis show -- Brian Christopher pimping himself with free photos and T-Shirts. Oh and not being able to reconize (sic) Jimmy Valient without his 200 foot beard.

One of mine would be Gangrel giving me my pen back after I loaned it to him to sign autographs with since the one my piece of shit promotion gave him lived up to the promotion's reputation. He's a good guy.
Another would be all the stories and jokes I get to tell over instant messenger with one Legion Cage (watch for him Florida fans!) since he used to wrestle in Maine...closest I'll get to a true friend in the business.
Hm..Last would be what I mentioned in the "Heel turns you saw coming" thread, the show I went to when the face champion was so brutally hated by the crowd that they literally turned their backs to him when he came out.
(Worst would be getting crowned for sitting in the front row...)

He's a good guy. lol. I have a "retired" blue Sharpie sitting in an empty Moxie bottle somewhere that Jerry Lawler used to sign my autograph and then some of my friends, after we met him at Foot Locker before the first Raw show any of us went to. My friend has a pen still that Lillian used to sign all our autographs with too.

My greatest moment may just happen this week, when I hopefully dine for the very first time at JR's BBQ.
I just realized how freakin' close it is to where I work when I drove by it today. I might have to call up the Crying Fan and have a "real good to me" dinner.
