I know some WWE employees frequent WC. At the Raw 10th Anniversary Special, they played a video called, "Looked good on paper," which was a tribute to wrestlecrap gimmicks. Also, there was the gimmick battle royal. They used the countdown gimmick in a magazine after RD and Blade announced their book and gave some samplings. Also, I believe I read that they started a column called, "Did you buy this?" At the very least, some WWE employees found wrestlecrap, found it funny to look back at the past goofy gimmicks, and then decided to incorporate some references and video packages, in a light manner (inspired by wrestlecrap, but not necessarily ripping it off).
