I am referring to this incident: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4W3_VdlXmQ0Normally, I would say this was a definite NO, as this was vintage Jericho. The only reason I am considering it is that I just realized the fans were hoodwinked into believing they would see a World Title match, and ponyed up lots of green for tickets and the ppv, and one of the marquee matches turned out to be a joke on everybody.

I'd vote no, just because IMO wrestlecrap is something bigger or something that stretechs over a period of time.
But thanks for posting that. It was freaking hysterical and nostalgic at the same time.
Am I the only one who busts up laughing every time I see Jericho do the 'pin the guy with one foot and flex' move? It never gets old to me for some reason.

"Impostor Bill Goldberg," as Pro Wrestling Illustrated called him on their Fall Brawl results page, was inducted as a Jobber Of The Week a few years back.

Ill tell what was crap. The fact the actual match never took place and the feud could have been gold between Jericho/Goldberg but WCW found yet another way to screw up a good thing. God, I still miss wcw though.

It never gets old to me for some reason. I loved that pin. And the "come on, baby!" that usually accompanied it. I remember in the one WCW N64 game, they even added in a sound effect for when he makes that cover. Jericho getting lost a la Spinal Tap was definitely gold. "Hello Winston-Salem! Let's Rock!" On a side note, I always loved Jericho's Pearl Jam ripoff theme from WCW.

It wasn't WrestleCrap at all. Mainly because it was comedy in wrestling that worked. Also, the match wasn't announced in advance. Noone bought into the show expecting to see Jericho vs. Goldberg.
Finally, you'd have to induct basically every one-off midget impersonator if you inducted this as almost everyone of them wasn't as good as this. Well, Lance Storm superkicking the midget was awesome.

Exactly. This was definitely not a bait and switch by WCW. It was just Jericho furthering an angle. The match wasn't announced as taking place until the PPV had already started.

I don't thnk fans were really hoodwinked by it becuase at that point Jericho was no where near the Goldberg level.
