...but I've been a reader of the WrestleCrap site for about a year and a half now. Now I understand a lot of the members here view the site as secondary material when compared to the forums and WCR, but I still visit WC primarily for the site.
Where my complaint comes in, is that after a year and a half I feel like I have seen it all on the site. Either I've seen ALL the previously inducted articles, or you aren't realy putting any up from back archives. And it upsets me. Especially when you had the articles up last week(?) that said you havent posted them in four years. I REALLY don't think I've been coming to this site for 4 years, and I've seen them. I could be wrong, but 4 years ago, I'm pretty sure I was limited to Top-Rope and my old gaming community as my places to surf online.
All I ask, is to please post some old inductees that don't get to see the light of day very much. For everytime you post something like (Adam Bomb: Following a nuclear meldown, mild mannered Bryan Clark becomes the Creation of Devastation! [which I haven't seen the article for, mind you]) the site sees 20 posts of (Billy & Chuck Wedding: Weddings are always big ratings draws - just imagine how huge a GAY wedding could be!).
I don't know if this would be a proper place to post what I haven't seen, and I do realize that they are based on what the forum users want, but I really hate the fact that the ones that are re-posted are always ones that I've seen before. Dig deeper RD! I know you can!

i can understand where you're coming from dude. i too want to see classic inductions that havent been seen for years. i actually asked RD about this long ago (like a year ago or something), and his reason for it was that he felt those inductions needed to be rewritten, cause he just didn't feel they were that funny anymore. also, if i remember correctly, i think he lost some of the inductions following the closing of the site in 2001.

I have the old WrestleCrap inductions on CD, the original and the one he put out in I believe 2002. Perhaps R.D. will make another CD in the near future...

Well, in the dying days of the site, he was packaging CDs with everything he was selling on eBay, in fact, I still have the 1999 Royal Rumble Dreamcast game I won from him (pretty stupid, considering I have never owned a Dreamcast) and even asked if he wanted it back. At that time, I was active duty in the Marines serving in Japan and he was nice enough to autograph each CD and asked if I wanted more, which I passed around to my fellow jarheads, many who loved wrestling as well. Thanks for the kudos, I think I could have done much better, but then again, it could have been much worse as well... lol

Why doesn't someone give them back to him? Shouldn't be that hard now-a-days...all you need is a gMail account and WinZip. Also, I wouldn't mind if any needed to be re-written...I just don't want the same 20 over and over again.

Two things:
1) I have been trying to find some of the older stuff and updating it. I know I am really bad about reposting the same stuff, so if anyone can give me a list of stuff that has recently seen reposting, then let me know. I understand the frustration. 8(
2) I didn't want to say anything, but I am, in fact, playing around with a DVD of EVERYTHING EVER on the site. I actually just backed everything up and man...the sheer amount of stuff is insane. It actually took more than a DVD to fit it all. The last CD released was five years ago, and we've added so much since that it's pretty absurd. No idea when it will be ready, or how it will be sold, or what the price is. Stay tuned.
Thanks,
RD

wow! that's awesome, RD!
and yeah, someone should make a list of the old inductions that haven't been seen for a long time. But it won't be me, since i'm just too lazy..

I don't mean to knock your idea RD, but I don't think I'd buy that DVD. Then the only thing worth coming to the site for is the other updates, and those are updated rarely as it is...I don't want a complete DVD or else I feel like I'll read it all then be done with WrestleCrap forever.

Dude stop complaining. For those of us who were here back in 2001 when RD shut down the crap, the reopening was like the return of Lex Luger on the first episode of Nitro, unexpected and good. If you are that unhappy then just stop coming to the site RD isn't getting paid for the site and does his best to give us a good laugh. So just lay off the deal. Because remember it could be a lot worse and the site could not be up anymore.

And I'll buy whatever RD is selling. Anything that keeps WC around for as long as possible is fine by me.
And I think the site is just fine. And once I'm done amusing myself with all the new stuff for the week, I'll tool around on this board and talk wrestling with fellow fans.
I have zero complaints about Wrestlecrap. None. I'm sure if RD could make WrestleCrap his job he would do it in a heartbeat, but he has a wife, a small child, and a demanding job. Sometimes this site has to be an afterthought.

Thanks, RD (S***s pants) Even if it is as much as the Wrestlemania Anthology, I'll buy it. But be forewarned R.D., it better not cut out any commentary, like say replacing Blade with Jerry Lawler.

That EBay sale you had in 2001 when you shut down the site was hilarious. People were paying over $100 for some horrific In Your House PPV VHS.

Yep, and my webhost took nearly all of the sale in payments of back payments for the insane bandwidth I was using at the time.
On a much happier note...so, I take it that people would have an interest in a WC Archive disc?

On a much happier note...so, I take it that people would have an interest in a WC Archive disc? RD I know what you mean. I've been running sites for years now and I know how chinsy (and expensive) web hosts can be. Luckily I have a friend with his own dedicated server if I ever want to open up another personal site. However, the e-fed I'm in I've helped them get their new host and we already ran out of space and I also know how unresponsive they are . About the DVD, I think it will sell great, but as I said before, I don't think I'd want it personally because while it would be great in the short-term, it will ruin the value of the site for me in the long term. Already I've read through all the material on Sonic-Cult (A site about prototype Sonic games) and the archives of Slash-Wrestling (although I haven't read them all I did read all the Nitro reports and RAW up to 1999). And now I don't visit those sites at all. Granted, they don't update like you do, it just feels like I've milked those sites for all they're worth. The way you do the inductions now keeps me visiting the site. Along with other things (like when there is a good ReWriting the Book).
