Just something to discuss. It's an interesting twist in the story.

More On Backstage J.R. Situation: HHH/Stephanie Problems Date Added: October 20, 2005 Story By: Tim Brown The PWTorch Newsletter reports that Triple H is not a backer of Jim Ross backstage. It all goes back to what happened years ago, when Jim Ross was playing hardball with Triple H when working out a new contract. Triple H felt that Ross was treating him as a second-tier talent, rather than the main eventer he is. Years later, when HHH expressed his frustration with that, Vince told Hunter that he should have just came to him to talk about it. Which is interesting because it was Vince’s very own orders that JR was carrying out at the time.
Some feel that one other thing that has been working against Ross, aside from stepping down from his full-time position at WWE headquarters, is how vocal he has been against the current direction of the company. Especially with Stephanie McMahon, when it comes to “sports” versus “entertainment”, and which one should come before the other.

Once again, another example of Triple H and Stephanie getting their way at the expense of the WWE. H may not like Ross, but even he should know that JR is one of the best announcers ever and taking him off tv is a mistake.

I guess if Jim Ross was going by Vince McMahon's word, and Triple H didn't seem to do anything about it. I think it would have been a good idea to talk to Vince about it, because then they probably would have worked stuff out.
Internet information about Triple H sometimes needs to be taken with a grain of salt, because there has been so much of it. But let's try to find out the validity of this about Triple H and Jim Ross.
For Triple H, even though there are a lot of things talked about that are negative about Triple H, where there's smoke, sometimes there is fire, which may lead to Triple H acting like that.
With JR, there has been a lot of people complimenting Ross when he was head of talent relations. Years ago, there apparently was a rumour that Jim Ross and Jerry Lynn hated each other because of something that involve Lynn's contract. Ross later shot down these allegations and said Lynn was a great talent, and Lynn did nothing be compliment Ross.
Raven talked before about how when he was brought into the WWE, he was told that he was going to be given a ridiculously small amount, but would be promised $100,000 more if everything goes well after a year. What happened? Raven got it. From many interviews of Ross, he seems to be a beakon of integrity. He talked on Off The Record that he would get stern with talent sometimes, but would never yell, and would try to be equal with all the talent on the show.
Plus, what also gives this story validity, is that Stephanie has been hiring writers that seem to know nothing about wrestling, so it seems like it could be true. Smackdown has been getting better in recent weeks, but Dusty Rhodes has been the main booker, and he's had over 30 years of experience in the buisness. So like, I guess this does seem to be another example of what happens when you mess with Triple H and Stephanie.

Somebody said something about something that got to the torch that the turned into an article and automaticly this is HHH's doing? Could it be true yes, could it be internet bull crap most likely. If this really happened then why weren't these reports furnished when HHH was working on the contract. Why would it come out now, on a slow news thursday.
