Or am I imgining things? Something feels diferent anyway, maybe it's just the move to Friday, or the fact that TagTeams are getting a push, or just because Dominick isn't on the screen. ;D
Have the rating gotten any kind of pop?

The change to Friday brought it a 141% jump in ratings, I believe.
But yeah, it does seem to be improving lately! More tag teams, more undercard work... I like it!

I'm pissed that I set the recorder for NEXT week and missed it.
I'm writing a letter.
Unless someone out there knows where Smackdown for some oddball reason is online where I can download it... ha.

They remind me of Mini-Benoits. But yeah, they could do some good here.
See, people? Cycles!

The good thing about Smackdown is that it doesn't have the following on the roster:
Vince McMahon Stephanie McMahon Linda McMahon Jim Ross
Shane still remains as the 'net's least-hated McMahon family member.

He's the least abrasive and the most talented of them.
And I think that not focusing solely on the main event track is a BIG help.

That's probably my favorite part of the whole show. For instance, here are potential feuds for the United States Title:
Booker vs. Benoit (not a heel vs. face feud, but the match is gonna happen regardless) Booker vs. Kennedy Kennedy vs. Matt Hardy Kennedy vs. Benoit Matt Hardy vs. Christian Benoit vs. Christian
Throw Rey Mysterio in there, and you have one helluva midcard.

I've always hoped that beefing up the attention on the undercard would reinvigorate the show. And I'm glad to see it actually happen.
Even sliding JBL down to midcard (if he's fighting over a spot for the US title, that's where he is) isn't such a bad thing. He's better off.
Look at this fat roster!
Benoit Booker Christian Hardy JBL Kennedy OJ Lashley (in a little while - he's still working up to it)
Quite a varied crowd of talent!
I think that's the difference between RAW and SD right there. RAW is so focused on the WWE title that the other stuff gets shoved off into a corner. Fine for guys on the top tier, not so good for the rest of us. It's gonna be quite a battle with Flair on the IC belt... everyone's ME track there.

Smackdown has been great the past couple of weeks. There are a few things I'd love Smackdown to do though.
Become the brand that's based more on wrestling. Raw would be more storyline based, and Smackdown would be more match based. Maybe have one big in ring promo and just maybe a few small backstage promos, and mostly matches.
With the new addition to Kid Kash to the Smackdown roster, they got an extra heel in the division, and that could help it(and let's not forget the return of one James Gibson who will really give the division a nice boot in the ass). Here's a good proposition that I'd like to have on Smackdown to improve the Cruiserweight division. Have Paul London turn heel. Maybe have a few tag team matches with Brian Kendrick, and lose, and then out of frustration, he attacks Brian Kendrick, and maybe that could set up a program between the two, which I think could be good. The fun loving Brian Kendrick and the frustrated heel Paul London. And like, Brian Kendrick is so underutilized with promos. Some of his stuff during his first run was great, and really should still be used as that goofy character.
This will also take away one tag team to keep up a good crusierweight division with heels. Nunzio and Vito could also be a tag team, along with the Tolands on the show. They need Kendrick and London in the Cruiserweight division, not the tag team division(even though I love them as a team, their singles skills will better used).
They need to also take advantage of WWE.com and promos on there. The promo with the Heart Throbs was awesome, and the Locker Room Lowdown thing they have is really cool too, and helps to further develop the character.

I'm pissed they moved to Friday. I never get to see SD! anymore. The last show I saw was like right before Summerslam or something. I always thought SD! was worlds better than Raw anyway.

i wouldn't mind seeing a hardy/christian tag team, after a decent feud. christian could carry hardy on the mic.

Well, I'm glad that I'm not alone in this Strange how it seemed like only a month or 2 ago the whole Smackdown brand seemed to be wrestlecrap, then they go and inject a whole boatload of new talent and it turns the whoel show around for me, amazing!
