And don't forget Exhibit H, when Candice & Maria stripped at the end, they looked like adult sized Barbie's. Candice literally, cuz, you know, and Maria cuz they blurred out "the naughty parts". I know nudity's a no-no in the FCC's eyes, but those pixel blurs somehow manage to make it worse.

It was quite the spectacle, wasn't it? I was actually surprised that the collective heart of the IWC didn't explode that they showed this over a CM Punk match.

I did not think FCC controlled Cable stations. It was more of a problem with sponsers

Actually, the FCC does regulate cable to some extent. It regulates how the cable companies handle the billing, so I would not be surprised if they had some control over the cotnent as well

Drawing from my memories of broadcasting school ...
The FCC does regulate cable. However, restrictions are looser there, due to cable having the luxury of being pay-to-see. This is how Comedy Central gets away with the Secret Stash, and fX has Rescue Me and Nip/Tuck saying words that rhyme with spit and animal-based genital names. However, the other side of the blade is that for every four-letter word or naked breast they show, that's an advertiser they risk losing over potentially offensive content. Thus the balance is struck: is Maria's naked bosom worth losing, say, JVC or Paramount as an advertiser?
Jed Shaffer ~One day, I'll put the broadcasting knowledge to good use. For now, it's a well of trivia.
