Didn't know Blade was a Tigers fan, I thought he was just a Lions fan.

Plus I'd think that RD would be cheering for the Tigers since he's a Reds fan and would just root against the Cards.

I don't believe Blade likes the Tigers, just the Lions. Because the Tigers are winners, I guess.

Tom Brady=lucky fluke. Jed Shaffer ~The field goal kicker won their Super Bowls, not Brady. 3 points do not an intimidating opponent make.

Jake Delhomme > Tom Brady > Peyton Manning
Carolina would have won that Super Bowl had dumbass John Kasay not kicked the ball out of bounds. OT would have been owned by the Panthers, they were on fire in the 2nd half.
Mr. Kasay will be forever unforgiven by me. No matter how many FG's he makes.

As a die hard Panthers fan myself, I have to disagree with you. The fault lies on the whole team. We left too much damn time on the clock for Tom Brady to get one more drive in. I've sadly seen this happen many times with Brady and I knew just after I saw the clock that New England was gonna make the most of the last drive and score. Though Kasey's bad kick made it easier, it was bound to happen.

Depending on your definition of recently, they have. The Colts were victorious in Super Bowl V (incidentally, the first Super Bowl played by two NFL teams) after losing to the Jets in Super Bowl III. The Detroit Lions have yet to APPEAR in one despite being an NFL team since the 30s. For the record, the Lions have merely one playoff win in the last 48 years (38-6 over Dallas in the '91 NFC Divisional Playoffs). And FYI, this is being written by a diehard Lions fan. P.S.: Gotta love all the football talk coming out of a thread titled "World Series".

And yes, even as they were lining up for that kickoff, I could already invision the last second FG, even before the crap kickoff. I knew it was coming, there was no stoping it from happening.

It also eased many Chicago Cub fans mind to blame Steve Bartman for them not going to the World Series in 2003. However, the truth was the whole team played like a dog and choked.

J.P. Losman>Jake Delhomme>Tom Brady>Peyton Manning
J.P. just acts like he sucks at quarterback. AND he has won the same number of Super Bowls as Delhomme and Manning.
