So I'm over at Gerweck's site and I see an article called "Feedback on No Way Out" and people are complaining as per usual about anything that any wrestling promotion does. Then I stumbled across the bit from someone, not sure if it's a guy or a girl because of the name:
When I see things like this not only being said, but being posted on a Wrestling news site without the editor adding some sort of response, it makes me want to rip my hair out and vomit with rage.
So either comment on that or post your favorite instances of a fan making a statement without thinking first.

Can't think of any examples of this but i think that wrestling sites, like news sites, have a little spin to them so i take them with a grain of salt.

I don't have the exact quote, but i was once told "You're not a real wrestling fan because your favorite wrestler is The Rock and he turned his back on the business that made him." ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png)

Someone once told me that Shelton Benjamin had to "slow down" when he worked with Rob Van Dam.

Someone once told me that Shelton Benjamin had to "slow down" when he worked with Rob Van Dam. He does...that's cause Rob usually sees three of him...at least Rob knows to kick the one in the middle.

I don't know if this qualifies but in 1994 my brother told me I was only a fan of Owen Hart because he (my brother) didn't like Owen.

Wrestling like the majority of things have the fans that think they know everything and are usually just dorks who have way to much time on their hands. They like to believe they are better than everyone else who likes the product they like, because they feel they like it "more" or know "more" about it. So will sometimes say the stupidest things, for what it seems like just to cause comotion.

I have to mention people who claimed Owen and Eddie didn't really die, and it was just a storyline.
Yeah, WWE and Vince McMahon somehow worked the mainstream media of THE ENTIRE WORLD.
Good job, Vince.

I just meant that it's a completely ridiculous statement since Lashley has beaten RVD, Test, Bob Holly, etc etc etc ALL cleanly.

The same should be said about those guys at IMDb who said The Marine is disrespectful to Eddie Guerrero without even defending it, and just post the same things over and over. Or the guy at YouTube who hates Brock Lesnar, and cusses and insults fans of Lesnar even calling them f----ts or their(the fans) parents were prostitutes.

Anything you read as responses to wrestling videos on YouTube. The very notion that any thought goes into those posts is insulting to mankind's ability to reason.

That makes sense, but I don't think the poster coming back with different accounts, same name with a different number, or with letters added(Brand X for example) does.

I don't know if this counts, but i can't stand the people that talked the whole Lita/Edge/Matt thing to death. Was it a work? Was it a shoot? Who really cares.
