Why is so hard for people to spell "Hennig" correctly? because when you see "ig" your mind is kind of trained to think that there should be an "n" in there HA HA..."ing"![/Phil Ken Sebben]

I never thought Steve Austin was a gimmick wrestler, not in the same vein as the likes of Mankind & the undertaker. He just seemed like a guy who kicked ass, the list is probably accurate, but I dont accept King Booker being in there.

Your kidding. If William Perry is inducted to the WRESTLING hall of fame and Glen "Kane" Jacobs isn't, I will shoot myself. With a stalk of corn.

William Perry was inducted into the wrestling hall of fame because they were in CHicago and wanted a local celeb there to help draw interest and fans to both the HoF ceremony and, by extension, wrestlemania. Perry wrestled one match, and his big claim (for the HoF position) is that he tossed out two Hall of Famers (John Stud and TOny Atlas...who was inducted this year). Vince could (And if he thought it would make him cash, probably would) induct the gobbledy gooker into the Wrestling Hall of Fame. Heck Verne Gagne, a guy who never worked for the WWF/E was inducted (Because he signed on the dotted line) while Honkey Tonk Man has not been (And won't while he owns his gimmick)

He was just a tough nut that happened to bring a snake to the ring. I wouldn't include Mr. Perfect either as his "gimmick" was more machismo than substance. I mean, would you consider The Rock as a gimmick? Some that were missing include the Road Warriors, Goldust, Demolition, among others.

Actually at the top of the list, the writer explains what he views as a "Gimmick" (Since I actually agree that SCSA was a gimmick, albeit simple one, where as Doink, Undertaker or IRS were somewhat more involved gimmicks) and says that wrestlers who are just more or less themselves (or a bit exagerated) such as Austin, Rock, Cena (So this means he thinks Cena really wants to be Marky Mark) etc. aren't using what he calls a gimmick, so aren't on this list.

When I read the first post and clicked on the link, I just KNEW that Taker would be No. 1.
I agree with most of the list, except for King Booker. It's not the worst gimmick, but come on, a tough black guy who is a former amateur boxer and who spent 1 1/2 years in jail, and now acts like a medieval king? That's just too dumb to be inducted in any kind of "best of" list.

I don't have a problem with what they picked for number one. I would've but Kennedy's up there in the top ten because he is awesome!

I believe that Kennedy has to actually accomplish something first.
