This is a concept I dreamt up earlier today when I got a hold of some bad McDonald's and had to lie down for a few hours.
Suppose TNA challenged WWE to a Survivor Series-style elimination match to see who had the better roster. Vince accepted, on the condition that TNA would have to be at a 2-1 disadvantage. And so the match was set: 47 TNA wrestlers against 94 WWE wrestlers. And the winning side will be determined by you.
This will work much like a single-elimination tournament with a few major differences. First, although it will be broken up, it will all be one big match. Second, it will end once all the wrestlers from one side have been eliminated, meaning that there is no definite length. It may take several rounds, it might end before everyone on the WWE side has even gotten into the ring once.
What you will do each day is vote in a "mini-match" between two stars on opposing sides. The losers will be out of the match. The winners will remain. If the winner is on the side with the lowest number of people, they will have to fight again in the round against the remaining people from the other side. It's hard to explain in words, so here's an example: Say the match is between colors and it's primary colors against everyone else. The teams are:
Red, Blue, Yellow
vs.
Green, Orange, Purple, Black, Brown, Grey
We would have "mimi matches" between Red and Green, Blue and Orange, and Yellow and Purple. Say Red and Blue won their matches but Yellow lost. Red and Blue would go on to fight Black and Brown. Say Red won his match and Blue lost his. Red would go on to fight Grey. At this point, everyone has been in the match at least once. If Red beat Grey, he would then have to go back and fight Purple and Brown, who won first round matches. If he could beat them both, the Primary side would win.
It is possible with these rules that the primary side could gain a numbers advantage. If Red, Blue, and Yellow all won their first matches and Red and Blue beat Black and Brown, but Grey beat Yellow, Grey would be at a 2-1 disadvantage against Red and Blue.
Man, even I thought that was complicated. Let's just see how this goes. Despite the complicated elimination system, I promise the voting will be simple. Just one-on-one matches with voting open for about 24 hours. If there's a tie, the wrestler who reached their score first will be the winner (which means that the latest vote will be thrown out). Several matches will be posted each day. I will post the first set of matches shortly
