Don't get me wrong. I think Blade does a terrific job here. His writing's great, he's pretty talented. Heck, I'm even willing to look the other way on some things. Mostly, the Kimberley head thing you posted today. But what I will not stand for is name-calling of a classic American Icon. Sir...Hong-Kong Phooey is no assclown. Sure, he may not be as famous as a Fred Flintstone or a Captain Caveman, but he is truly a legend of our times. Has there ever been a dog so proficient in the art of Ka-Ra-Te in one generation? So fluid in his motion, and posessing a mighty chop that could fell any great enemy of the state, from his arch nemesis...well, I'm sure he fought some bad guys. It's been awhile since I've seen the show. Maybe he fought Plastic Man. Also, he talked. And not only did he talk, he talked just like liked Scatman Crothers! No easy feet, sir! And not only did he fight crime...he could clean your office, too. Oh, and his car turned into helicpoter. That's high-tech that's far ahead of the Japanese. So, Mr. Braxton, before you toss off such inflammitory...wait, is it "imflammitory", or "inflammitory"? Hold on... ...inflammitory statements, please remember, one man's cheaply-made early 80's forgettable cartoon character...could be another man's Optimus Prime. Or Meadowlark Lemon. That guy ruled. Thank you.

Hong Kong Phooey was an ass clown and a jabroni. He was a total jobber on that olf Laff - A Lympics show.

He has a car that just won't stop. When the going gets rough he gets super-tuough with his Hong Kong Phooey Chop!
Ah childhood reruns. I think it was back to back with Jabberjaw at one point.

Actually, I reread the JOW page, while it's one thing to knock the might that is Hong Kong Fuey, it's another thing to mock Nidia. Granted, yes, I am assuming that was written when she was "blind" but still.

Hong Kong Phooey could have gotten over if not for having to work under a mask.

Meadowlark Lemon did indeed rule. I must repectfully disagree...Curley Neal ruled! He just let Medowlark think he was in charge. ;D

I'm sorry, but Blade is right. Hong Kong Phooey is an assclown. He just plain sucked. That's why hardly anyone remembers him.

Blade's still got time to repent before he is put into the dead to me section. This gentleman right here...he's one of the Heroes. And Curley Neal does rule. Just not as much as Meadowlark. How can you tell? Meadowlark was the one that called everyone "turkey". Sign of true leadership.
