Good one, this is probably the most consistently botched, and nowadays TV cameras do a less well job of hiding the 6 inches of air between fist and victim. this is a good point...it seems the WWE has too many cameramen and it catches too many of the secrets of pro wrestling and things you dont wanna see...ditto the sunset flip...often a wide shot makes it look like a kickout or a dorothy kick (knocking your heels together into the opponents head) and it looks convincing but noooo now they gotta go up close and you see the stunt given away. sometimes less is more vince...this is one hidden benefit of TNA's 6-sided ring, wider shots that show less of the illusion of reality being broken...remember, wrestling is NOT fake, but it is a circus art, so that art needs to be perserved....one main reason i have wwe issues is the camera work that gives way too much away I personally attribute this to the fact that WWE is filmed more like a TV show now. In olden days I remember lots of sudden camera jerks as cameramen tried to anticipate a botch or even a too soft punch or off-kilter move.

I haven't seen a good Pedigree in a long time. Triple H either lets go way early, or the guy jumps at the wrong time.

I really can't believe that HHH hasn't hurt people legit with the Pedigree. Most of the time it turns into a face-first semi-piledriver. With HHH's weight behind it.

Kane's Tombstone. He makes it blatently obvious that his opponents head isn't hitting the ground.

How bout Kidman with the SSP. Everytime he did it he looked scared to death and shaky. I'm suprised he didn't hurt himself real bad off that move. Didn't he botch it real bad against Regal one time, and Bischoff broke kayfabe and went in to the ring to check him out?

After this is when he started to really have a hard time doing it, which is what i was trying to say earlier.

At least twice in WCW Kidman didn't get any distance on the SSP and racked himself on the top rope. I remember one time Bischoff was on commentary and tried to make it sound like someone had tripped him but the replay showed nobody was even around.

I am a Kane mark, but does it seem like any face first bump (Twist Of Fate at the Lita/Kane wedding key example) he gets arms out too soon and never comes within 6 inches of the mat?
Not that I blame him, it can't be a fun thing to have your face smash against the ground.

The Sharpshooter. It boggles the mind how only Canadian wrestlers and HBK can do it right.

I saw him apply it on Bret once so forcefully that Earl Hebner was forced to change the ending, and just ring the bell, Bret was in so much pain. Somewhere in Canada, IIRC.

The Sharpshooter. It boggles the mind how only Canadian wrestlers and HBK can do it right. you forgot Sting's, which was almost as good as the original, and he's not from Canada nor is he HBK, and Konnan must have a pretty good one as Bret Hart claims it was Konnan who taught him the move
