I always found it hilarious. Watching the cartoon he looks all buff and built like a brick shithouse like you'd expect a drill sargeant to look like. But then you see him in real life on WWF he looks more like somebody's fat uncle who never walked past a McDonald's in his whole life. The only orders he'd give would involve driving up to a clown's nose. My favorite episode is the one where he gets that stupid tank of his blew up. I bet all the other G.I Joes would have been laughing and saying "Hehe fat boy has to march with the grunts".

I remember they decided to have him intoduce the episodes one season (they also retroactively had him intro the older eps)
Also remember watching AWA that had him in it and they even had a line in his entrance music about him being in GI JOE (I belive the line was "and he fights with GI JOE, GI JOE, a real American hero."
Funny stuff. If anyone has that and the Road Warriors rapping they're in possession of comedy gold

That just gave me another reason to buy that thing

The old official AWA tapes are great. They only made a few different ones. The Slaughter one is worth seeking out to see the Rambo Greg stuff that's been inducted here. It can usually be found on Ebay pretty cheap.

I also remember somewhere in the mid 80s they had Sgt. Slaughter and a team of wrestlers in a tug of war match against the Bigfoot Monster Truck. The VHS it's on is Blood, Sweat & Gears. It was more about Monster Trucks then about Sgt. Slaughter. It was originally released in the mid 80s and I don't think it was that big of a seller so I doubt they made a DVD. Good luck finding a copy. I suggest eBay or amazon.com.
