The big buzz the past couple of days has of course been the unusually large number of people let go in such a small time. There are a multitude of reasons for it, I'm sure, but I'm interested to hear just what you're opinions on why all these people have been let go at once, RD. Any partciular reason you can think of? Last time we had a situation like this, it pissed everyone off because they were sure it was because they were giving Christy a honkin load of money and needed to make up the difference. Think the diva search is the reason again, or is it something else?

It's because they're getting screwed harshly in terms of revenue when they move to USA again.

That's the major part of it. Also, they had a poor quarter and they need to free up moolah (cash, not Fabulous) for the return of everybody's favorite football player.

It's because they're getting screwed harshly in terms of revenue when they move to USA again. The thing is, though, that the contracts they are nixing probably aren't a whole heck of a lot of money. Now granted, when you add up 18 of them, you might wind up saving, maybe $2 mil. But that's really not all that much, especially when Vince, as the primary shareholder in the company, takes home like 4 times that when dividends are paid out. IOW, that's just his "bonus". Which isn't to say that he shouldn't make the money; I personally believe he deserves every dime he gets. But to cut people left and right to "save cash" is kind of a bogus excuse. RD

Everyone favorite Football player? If it ain't Mongo then it has to be Kevin Greene. Smell the ratings. Mongo vs. HHH at Wrestlemania XXII

RD As always, RD is right on. If WWE was so worried about saving cash, they wouldn't have paid Christy a quarter of a million dollars... and then do the same thing again this year to some other gal!
