I don't usually buy television shows on dvd, especially when the show is heavily in syndication. I've seen every episode of The Simpsons anyway.

I went into work early so I could leave early and pick up the DVD on the way home. That way, I could watch 3 episodes with commentary in the time where I would regularly be working.

Oh, hell yes. I reprint, for the sake of history, the greatest moment of the 6th season. It comes from episode 2F06, 'Homer: Bad Man':

So what does everyone think of the new case. And who is getting the alternate case as well.

There's an alternate case to the Homer head? First I'm hearing about it.

Damn you lucky Americans. We have to wait until October for this.
As much as I like the Homer case, it will not fit in with the first 5 seasons.

My birthday is next week, so maybe my parents will get it for me.
And even though you can see episodes on TV, there's a big drawback: a horrible thing called SYNDICATION CUTS. The idea is, networks chop off bits of episodes so they can squeeze in more commercials. I'd rather have the complete eps, with all jokes intact.

All the stuff isn't intact on the DVDs anyway. Check out www.snpp.com for DVD cuts..... I got it. Watched the first disc. I taped all the episodes off TV for free years ago and have basically worn the tapes out, so it I guess spending $45 on the DVDs are ok. Even though, I've seen the first 14 seasons about 500 times a piece, that's no lie either, it was all I watched for 10 years, besides Raw and Letterman. The newer ones I watch when I can and download what I miss, but I am certainly not as obsessive about catching the show as I once was. The new DVD case is interesting and will apparently be used until they run thru all the family members.

A *almost* easter egg. If you go to Episode Selection, after the mug shot is taken, they are holding the production number of the episode, if you move up to it, you can also start the episode this way, rather than the play episode feature.......

Not all of them are this way
Easter Egg
On the Who shot Mr. Burns one go to the number on the mug shot hit enter and bullets are shot. Fake or other wise depending on what you do after seeing it.
