These two games, and Raven are pretty much the only things that have ever made me adore The Offspring. Offspring and Bad Religion's tunes in the first one are iconic to the game and I can't hear "All I Want" without thinking of Crazy Taxi. All of the tracks selected for each band were catchy as hell and I do find myself humming or singing along. I love Walla Walla in Crazy Taxi 2. What's funny to me is when they ported the games over to PSP, they couldn't get the rights to the soundtrack, so instead they allowed for custom soundtrack from the memory stick, as they realized that the game sans those tunes would be severely lacking. I had all of the songs from both games and I threw in some other punk acts here and there like Rancid, The Misfits, Tsunami Bomb, some early AFI, other appropo Offspring stuff, and so on. And y'know what? It helped. Sometimes I blare my custom OST cd in my car and mentally pretend I'm playing the game. I don't drive quite as erm...crazy, but...close. One of these days I gotta get me an arcade cabinet of it. It really is the perfect time waster game, to me. I never really tire of it even though it is a very simple concept.

Oh yeah, awesome soundtrack on that one and it's probably my second favorite licensed soundtrack behind Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2.

Hey Hey!
This game is what got me into The Offsrping, before that I thought of them just as the Pretty Fly for A White Guy band.

It's a damn shame that "Bad Habit" wasn't in Crazy Taxi.

Loved Crazy Taxi as a whole, the soundtrack just fit it perfectly.
If they ever reboot it though, they should go nuts with the soundtrack and just stuff it full of classic punk music, Bad Brains, Ramones, Misfits, everything good and delicious.

I'm not sure I can appreciate a soundtrack with just 5 or 6 songs. Really. I liked the songs but they just got old.

He has the looks of Andre the Giant, and the strength of Barry Windham. Not to mention he's a hero to a few armadillos, a kangaroo and a small herd of bison.

They are rebooting it, and taking out all the licenses, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was all generic public domain punk.
