Bryan Danielson beat Miz, and threw him into Cole. All I see now is one thread about it. What's goin on here?

Kinda refreshing that it's thus far been kept in perspective actually; cool though it was.

Believe me, I was marking out hard. I actually take the time to watch every segment they're involved in now, moreso than the rest of the show.

Im glad there isnt alot of theard about it,even if alot of smark marked.
It would just end up being a bunch of daniel hater vs daniel fans threads, and it got tiring.
I also marked!Neve watched Daniel Bryan on the indies, but i like him so far.

It was indeed a markout moment tonight seeing Miz get tossed onto Cole. And Cole was turning the asshole-meter up to 11 with the crap he was spitting about Bryan.

I am actually kinda shocked the WWE hasn't tried to recapture that McMahon Austin type feud in a while. The dabbled with it a couple of times with McMahon and Cena 4 years ago but they backed off it and haven't really tried to do it since. Maybe they are just waiting for the right guy (Both the wrestler and the authority figure) to do it with. I think that in order for a McMahon vs Austin like feud to work it needs to be a McMahon as the authority figure (Either Shane or Stephanie) because a GM vs a wrestler just wouldn't cut it.

You're forgetting a McMahon: I fully expect the next iteration of Hunter's character to be a "Mr. Levesque" type of role, where he and Stephanie become the defacto rulers of RAW (yes, AGAIN.)

Cole's reaction to Bryan winning literally had me rolling on the floor laughing. And when Bryan threw the Cleveland Steamer onto Cole, I marked harder than I have in a LONG time.

Good idea except you know HHH would want to play the McMahon character and wrestle. Which in that case why bother? Its just going to be a more honest version of how things work with HHH and the fans wouldn't care and you would be wasting a chance to get a guy over. However if in 10 years HHH decides to hang em up and wants to be an on-air authority figure then that could work. But as long as he is actively working as a wrestler it won't work.

Vince was CEO and actively getting into the ring with people...hell, he entered (and goddamn WON) the Royal Rumble, and also became WWF Champion! So why couldn't Hunter do both? I get what you're saying though....it'd be a huge conflict of interest, but I think it might be a tad too close to the "real" way that the WWE works to have Hunter as the CEO and an active, Championship seeking competitor. Unless they just want to make him a total douche, and have him arbitrarily book himself into the WWE title picture all the time. In which case, if they let Orton take off as the anti authority figure badass.....THEN they might just have something, and they MIGHT just be able to REDO that feud (Orton vs. McMahon/Levesque) like it SHOULD have been done in the first place....with the McMahons as the evil, corporate, white collar scumbag heels and Orton as the sympathetic, albeit badass babyface who has to SOMEHOW find a way to overcome the machinations of the Corporation and win the WWE Title....just like a certain OTHER serpent-themed wrestler did not too long ago. ;D

He'd probably go by Mr. Helmsley. After all, I'm sure a lot of people, myself included, are unsure how he pronounces his last name, plus in kayfabe he always goes by this. Otherwise? I'd love to see it.
