I don't think that we should see people kicking out of finishers all the time. That would actually do more to devalue a finisher than anything. Sure, I don't think it should ONLY be reserved for Wrestlemania, but I don't want to see it all the time either. There should still be a chance in your mind that the finisher isn't the match ender though, and that's what's lacking right now.
It's not just any one thing that could change the product, it's the overall script. And it's not just the matches. Actually, if you compare the matches to the rest of the show, the matches are probably less predictable than anything else. I just wish that they would make an effort to make each show feel different. Give me a reason to watch next week. For the last few years I've been able to miss Raw and not get upset because nothing exciting was going to happen. I shouldn't be able to know that going in!
They've shown glimmers of hope though. There was the AWESOME commercial free Raw, and a week or 2 before that was really good as well. But then last week was back to the same old predictable crap.

I always think that if someone reverses a finisher, the reversal should get a win far more than it currently does (I mean if the reversal isn't to the wrestler's own finisher)
Finishing moves should always be booked as killer moves, but with an element of risk.
And definitely agree on the small package/schoolboy/inside cradle/sunset flip style speciality pins, if they don't work at least occasionally... then whats the point of them? Why would a wrestler ever execute a sunset flip, when about 1 in 10,000 actually gets the win? Also include non-finisher pinning suplexes, powerbombs etc. in that.
I also agree that every wrestler should at least have one submission move that they occasionally pull out.

I don't necessarily believe that people should kick out of finishers left and right, since I agree that finishers should [mostly] be finishers.
What I'm advocating is secondary finishers or non-finishers that can also successfully get pinfalls/submissions. Having non-PPV TV matches occasionally, but regularly, end with flying cross bodies, rollups, and secondary finishers will, over time, add an element of suspense to the product since near-falls later on in the match might actually look like they have a chance of winning.
Right now, it's blindingly obvious that if a finisher isn't hit, that count is only going to 2-and-a-half.
