I'd guess we get a Swagger/Orton rematch assuming Orton goes to SmackDown. If not then Swagger/Edge (yawn). If Bats and Trips are out for a while as reported then I guess it's Cena/Shameus (yawn). Don't think this PPV will be anything great. If Punk goes to RAW Cena/Punk would make for a good main event though, course you know who's winning already.

Does the PPV have a gimmick yet or is it just a new name?

Does the PPV have a gimmick yet or is it just a new name? The Ref gives each wrestler a breathalyzer test before each match, and whomever has the highest blood alcohol level wins. Scott Hall ends the night with every belt.

Does the PPV have a gimmick yet or is it just a new name? The gimmick for this PPV should be that every match will have a time limit. If you fail to win before a time limit draw, you and your opponent must engage in Hornswoggle-esque shenanigans.

Cena vs. Batista in a Duct Tape Match is all but guaranteed. Not just a Duct Tape match...a Duct Tape on a Pole match.

I'm also wondering if this PPV has a concept or gimmick or if it's just a generic PPV with a title they think is snappy. It's not that cool of a name IMO.

I think of the "Over the limit, under arrest. .08 it's the law in New York State" drunk driving commercials whenever I hear it.

I'd have lol'ed if this poster had the mugshotted photo of Jericho.
Obviously with the draft it's hard to tell what matches are to be expected, but this for sure is a "B" PPV.

Ss I've been saying for months the gimmick is obviously all matches can only end in time limit draw! I'm also wondering if this PPV has a concept or gimmick or if it's just a generic PPV with a title they think is snappy. It's not that cool of a name IMO. Yeah it's a pretty awful name. Not that it offends me, but wow WWE really?
A) You have a PPV called "Over the Limit" B) You have Edge on the cover C) You cross out Limit with that arrow D) This is happening on the 11th anniversary of Over the Edge 1999 E) At this rate, Bret Hart will be there for the ShoMiz vs Hart Dynasty match
Yeah, screw TNA, meet WWE: Cross the Line!
