How do you make a sleeveless attire uglier? Why you leave the zipper down. Well at least it wasn't the red attire.

It's different, I'll give him that.
It reminds me of how Big Bossman always used to end up with his shirt unbuttoned at the end of matches in the early '90s.

I suspect its their way to slowly transition him from not dressing like a Power Ranger anymore. I think they finally realized that if they want him to main event, he could never be taken seriously dressed how he is.

I think dropping the sleeves was a bad idea, let alone moving towards dropping the singlet altogether. His look worked for him. Why change that?

I would totally mark if he dressed as a Power Ranger for this years Halloween episode.

The sleeves looked way cooler. I'm almost certain WWE made him get rid of them, just so he "matched" Mark Henry.

That original outfit must have been pretty hot to wear during TV matches.

I'm assuming it covers up the questionable tattoos...

I'm assuming it covers up the questionable tattoos... No, MVP has said that the attire doesn't cover any of those tattoos, or at least that he doesn't care either way. Personally, I thought he looked great when it was pulled down and just looked like shorts. At first I didn't notice that his singlet was just pulled down and thought he had gotten all new attire, and I loved it. The unzipped look was weird, though.

yeah there were multiple shots of him with no top on this week on Smackdown. There was a "on the way to the ring" pre-advertisement shot, and he came out with Rey with the top down. He put the sleeves on when he got to the ring but never zipped up. I noticed his chest tattoo but it didnt look offensive.

I really wish he would just go back to the sleeved version complete with "Protect This Ring" on it. I hate the sleeveless version, and I don't really want him to drop it all together, because then he'll just look like everybody else. If the heel turn rumors are true, he HAS to go back to the sleeves. He's just missing to much now. His tunnel, the intro part of his entrance theme, the sleeves. Go find me this guy again....

I think Miz is a good example of somebody who had a unique look but then was slighted repackaged to be taken more seriously, at least how McMahon put it.
so I don't see how thats weird to apply that to MVP too.
