Lets keep it civil folks.
Anyway, one I always see is, "The WWE should wait until ______ retires before they give him a DVD set."
This one I never get. Look at Flair, Hogan and Undertaker. All of those guys have multiple sets. Even less legendary names like John Cena have been given the double dip treatment. All releasing a set before someone retires does is offer fans of theirs to buy a set immediately and doesn't hurt anyone.
Another one I hate is really ANY discussion of the Montreal Screwjob. Even ones that look like they have an interesting approach to it at first quickly degenerate into Shawn fans bashing Bret fans and vice versa.

Stone Cold was right to walk out on the WWE. If it had been Trips or Hogan they would have been killed.

It was here for like 3 days.
Mickie James vs John Cena. A huge argument on the basis of morality over something that couldve easily been newz.

A obvious one that springs to mind is "Cena should turn heel". Cena is a money making machine right now for the WWE and to turn heel would mean a drop in the profit pool. I think a new gimmick is essential though, just dunno what could work for him at this time....

ANY discussion of which wrestlers are overall better than others (Michaels, Hart, Hogan, Austin, Foley, Flair, etc.). It's always a completely subjective argument that gets treated as if people can empirically find a definitive answer, and is guaranteed to pop up featuring at least one of the above individuals at least once or twice a month. It was here for like 3 days. Mickie James vs John Cena. A huge argument on the basis of morality over something that couldve easily been newz. Oh and this too. A story reported by the same people who predicted that Daniel Bryan would win NXT was taken like a cold hard fact, and spurred on a pointless discussion of a nature that we don't really have the grounds to comment on anyway.

The deadly duo.
"You never change your mind on a wrestler, you're a sheep."
"You changed your mind on a wrestler, you're a hypocrite."
Usually it goes something like "Ha! You said you like the latest DX reunion? Well a few years ago you hated the FIRST DX reunion. Explain that, ya dishonest bastard!" and "Ha! You said you like the latest DX reunion? Well a few years ago you liked the FIRST DX reunion. You're just gagging on the engorged member of the WWE, you brainwashed drone!"

Also, Cena hate in general.

All of it. It's just a television show! Yeah, but we're wrestling nerds. Nerds like to have in depth conversations about things! I pretty much hate any of them that involve people not realizing that it's possible that both parties involved in something were in the wrong, and that not everything is black and white. See: Montreal Screwjob, Mr. Kennedy and Randy Orton, Mickie James and John Cena, etc etc

I'm gonna go old school with this and go back to Vince's national expansion in the early 80's. People moan and complain about Vince killing the territories when in reality alot of these old promoters were cutthroat people who were bad businessmen. Besides, the cable and internet revolutions would have eventually killed them anyway. Vince just pulled the trigger first.

Also, Cena hate in general. This. Others I hateMichael Cole sucks because he says "Vintage" and "oh my!" Those are his catchphrases, like slobberknocker!!! I'm not saying Cole is awesome just that he's crappiness is over blown. And "he sucks because he doesn't know the difference between a belly to belly suplex or throw" when I've heard JR DO THE EXACT THING! (I think the overhead version can be either.) Also, Matt Striker is the second coming of Gordon Solie and can carry play by play.

1) Everything is Triple H's fault 2) Triple H is the sole reason Your Favorite isn't/wasn't pushed 3) Triple H is only where he is because he married Stephanie McMahon

My main problem is that after cleaning out the territories, Vince had the nerve to bitch and moan about Bischoff buying out all his talent with Ted Turner's checkbook in the mid 90's. He really thought we should feel bad for him...

Anything involving Drew McIntyre. As I said before, he staved off future endeavors while wallowing in FCW for almost two years and rose right to the top. Despite that, he's a major pariah around these parts.

X-Pac heat, and the whole self-obsessed "I turn off my TV so that means it's bad" argument in general. Stating you do this is fine, acting like the whole company will crumble to the ground because one viewer pushed the standby button is not.

He really thought we should feel bad for him... I don't know about feeling bad for him, I certainly didn't. It may sound like such a hindsight thing to say now all these years later, but in MY mind, I always knew Vince was gonna win, even at their lowest point during the monday night wars, I truly believed it. I think part of what Vince was saying was that there was no way Bischoff could have done what he had done on his own without the Turner machine behind him. In Vince's mind he built his empire on his own.

That said, what bugs me is the argument of "If you don't like it, don't watch it". That's like saying one thing about a previous NCIS episode bugged me, and it made me throw a fit while others enjoyed it.

"If you don't like it, don't watch. It's that simple." No it isn't that f***ing simple! For a lot of us, it'll take 3 stints in rehab to quit watching wrestling.
