It just occurred to me, they could have Bret drop the title by simply having a Triple Threat and letting him walk out while the other two duke it out.

He could always be announced as GM next week, then he'd have to forfeit the title.

That's a great idea. I'd love to see Bret as the new GM.

I still say they begin a 16 man Grand Prix.
Dont expect Danielson to win or even be in it. If he is in it, then I expect him to make some waves and get to the final, but it is redundant to give him the belt so early.

I'd do an 8 man tournament, with the finals being held at a PPV.
FIRST ROUND: R-Truth vs William Regal Evan Bourne vs Yoshi Tatsu John Morrison vs Zack Ryder Mark Henry vs The Miz
SEMI FINALS: Evan Bourne vs The Miz R-Truth vs John Morrison
FINALS: Evan Bourne vs John Morrison.
I think that would be good.

Would it be redundant if the Miz tried to get his title back? Or should he just forget about it and wait to see who comes out on top in the I Quit match.....so basically another Miz vs Cena squash (I really hope Batista wins, although I don't see Cena saying I quit. Unless for some mysterious reason his dad says, "Hey, maybe I should come and cheer on my son. There's no way I'd be put in a predicament to make my son lose right??")

I'd mark so hard. If Chyna can hold a mans title, then Nattie can. She can wrestle against the men, even better than some of them already. And doesn't look to have any trouble lifting them, unlike say Beth Phoenix, who had some trouble lifting Santino on her shoulders. That's funny cause Beth is bigger than Nattie.

I'd hate it for the same reasons Id hate Beth winning a mens belt. She is supposed to be taken seriously as a womans wrestler, the WWE wont book an intergender match properly. The closest we had was Beth going over Santino, and hes just a punchline in the ring sadly. I'd love to see a proper intergender match a la Hamada/Eric Young, because it isnt implausible that a woman like Nattie or Beth could beat one of the guys, but the WWE would book it like a joke.

Maybe at the ppv they could do this, I doubt they would dedicate a whole Raw to a US title tournament althought it would be awesome, and I bet ratings wouldn't be too bad.

I'd prefer a tournament over, say, a battle royal. The thing about a battle royal for a championship is that, in a regular one-on-one title match, you don't win the belt by throwing someone over the top rope, so why should you win a title for throwing people over the top rope in a battle royal?

When is the MITB PPV? If it's soon have qualifying matches on RAW and the final 6 or whatever can have a massive ladder match for it.

Yup and beforehand Beth faced Carlito, Carlito was literally just groping her throughout the match, one back cracker later and it was over.
