If the Miz would have stopped his promo at the gorilla position last night, and just came out to his music, it would have been arguably his best backstage promo ever. But he kept it going and got the cheap heat talking his way down the ramp and into the ring, and that evened it out to just a good promo. But still, nice moment last night. Epic promo in the back, regular promo in the ring.

I really like it when he starts promos in the back and walks out to the ring, the one he did before was great too.

Him just snatching the mic out of Matthews hand before he could ask anything was simply epic. Miz is so great right now.

I still love how people think he's as good as dead and buried just because Bret made him tap after the Hart Attack last night. If we learned anything from the Cena feud, is that the Miz is awesome enough to get his heat back no matter what the hell happens to him. It's pretty much like Jericho or Punk, but people still scream BERRIED even when he'll cut a promo and get all his heat right back the next week.

I liked the fact that he held his hand up over Matthews' face when he tried to talk after having the mic being grabbed. God, I love Matthews just for the way he does interviews backstage. He always looks like he's about ready to crap his pants... And rightfully so, considering how many times he's gotten destroyed. I'm looking at you, Dolph!

I love this type of promo. Another great one was Orton's at Bad Blood 2004. Admittedly he *kayfabe* wasn't expecting to have the match start right there and then, but still.
