I was not aware of this gold, and I was a WCW watcher to the bitter end. This is some impressive Mene Gene stuff that rivals dancing with a turkey or corpsing during a Patera interview.

Just for Daffney taking Russo up on his suggestion that she go play in traffic. ;D

Asking my mom what a Rection was because I didn't get the Hugh G Rection/General Rection reference joke. The best part is my mom said "I don't know what a rection is. Is it a wrestling term?" Russo you clever dog.

Mean Gene was the man in the waning days of WCW.

Why did Mike Sanders never make it? Did he suck that bad in the ring?

Why did Mike Sanders never make it? Did he suck that bad in the ring? Stalled out in WWE Developmental. His managerial abilities far outweighed his in ring ability, but I personally thought he was passable as a wrestler. I hear he's a stand up comic nowadays, for what it's worth.

Why did Mike Sanders never make it? Did he suck that bad in the ring? He didn't shake Triple H's hand when he first went into the WWE lockerroom. In his defense, Trips was talking to someone and on crutches, but he was doomed the moment that H hobbled over and introduced himself. Quote the Raven Shoot Interview...Nevermore.

Why wasn't The Wall brought up to the WWE during the Invasion? That's what I want to know.

I think 2000 may have been the only year I watched WCW as much/more than WWF. To be fair, I have to give credit to the 3am rerunning of Nitros. I'd usually get in after partying late (hey I was 18, partying on a monday was no different than any other night), flip on Nitro & get caught up.
Man I wish WWE had a late night rerun of RAW. I know they have AM Raw on Saturday Night, but that is an awful night to be running a show.

The cruisers in WCW were simply staggering by the end. Not as good as a little bit before, but in a totally different way. 3 Count's gimmick was AMAZING, just pure heat. Tank Abbott with them was hilarious. The rivalry with the Jung Dragons and eventual rifts in both teams were also brilliant.
And the Natural Born Thrillas were magnificent, plus Kronik were pretty great.
