Do you think now the WWE is going to long longer show highlight clips on the main event of WrestleMania 11 now that what has transpired ? Every year, the WWE likes to hype Mania with retro clips. I don't remember if it was last year or the year before, but the WM recall for 20 ended with Eddie Guerrero winning the title. One of the most used clips on any Wrestlemania montage is when L.T. hit his first striking blow on Bam Bam.

Maybe, but I think they'll wait until the verdict.

I don't think they will....I mean hell they had Tyson COME IN to the company after the whole rape thing went down....
And since he isn't "one of their own", I think they'll still continue to show it just because it is a mainstream celebrity...

Maybe, but I think they'll wait until the verdict. Yeah, it hasn't exactly been proven that LT did what he's accused of doing. But, if he is found guilty; there's a good chance he'll become a victim of the WWE Revisionist History Machine.

Not much of a chance I'd say. No news outlet will rag on WWE for continuing to acknowledge Lawrence Taylor's existence. How many times has he been mentioned on TV after 'Mania XI before this happened anyway? Twice?

LT gets arrested every couple of days, so if they haven't forgotten him by now, they probably won't.

Most of today's younger fans probably don't even know who LT or Bam Bam are. Any highlight involving WM XI will probably just be Diesel vs. HBK.

not to sound ignorant but what's happened to L.T? He allegedly picked up a prostitute who lied about being legal age.

The role of L.T. will now be played by Steve "Mongo" McMichael.

I don't think there's much to worry about because the match is hardly ever referenced in the first place. It's not like Benoit where he was an influential part of 7 years in WWE and 4 in WCW.

He allegedly picked up a prostitute who lied about being legal age. Alright no biggie then (like Beniot or some thing I mean) He's being charged with rape, so it is a "biggie".

There was also the underlying debate whether Benoit's injuries might have lead to his actions, which put the whole industry on trial. With L.T., nobody thinks he went after some strange young because he had a match with Bam Bam.

There was also the underlying debate whether Benoit's injuries might have lead to his actions, . They most certainly did And when I said 'no biggie' I did mean relatively you can;t argue that 'statuary rape' (especially when he has been tricked into it and lied to about the girls age) is no where near as bad as a double murder suicide to wrestling. Especially when it's a main event wrestler who has been champion and wrestled in the big time for almost 10 years vs someone who had a match once.

I don't even think they showed WM XI highlights outside of Diesel/HBK & Salt-n-Pepa. No big loss either way although they'll more than likely wait until the case resolves.
