Right, so my current phone, a Palm Centro, is up for an upgrade, which is good, because it's beat all to hell and back after three years of getting lost in snowbanks, being left in Barnes and Nobles, getting the screen cracked after dramatically leaping onto a desk during a presentation, getting left in school buildings, et cetera. I'm considering two primary choices right now: The Palm Pixi, which is the sequel persay to the Centro, and is smaller, has a touchscreen, and I can get without any extra charge: www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/cell-phone-details/?device=Palm%C2%AE+Pixi+%28TM%29+Plus+-+Black&q_sku=sku4670296And the Blackberry Curve 8520, which doesn't have a touchscreen but is a freakin' Crackberry. Downside is that it's $100 extra. www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/cell-phone-details/?device=BlackBerry%AE+Curve+%28TM%29+8520&q_sku=sku4220265I use my phone for a lot of texting, lot of instant messaging, and am looking for something that'll take all the inadvertent abuse that I dish; I'm leaning towards the Blackberry out of the fact that there's more accessories and support for it, its bigger keyboard, and its seemingly better durability and battery life. I'm only worried about the lack of a touchscreen and the fact that the Blackberry would presumably be a bigger theft target, but that just means I can't be stupid and leave my phone lying about. Any thoughts?
