So, I recently got cable and started watching Silent Library, a remake of one of the best Japanese comedy skits ever. While it's a lot tamer than the original, it's still pretty raucous and raunchy and I love it.

It's actually a pretty brilliant concept, but I just can't stomach it by association.

Nobody can touch the Japanese version, but I'll have to admit even as an MTV detractor it's pretty funny.

This will stick around I'd say, though I honestly think it's the dumbest thing I may have ever seen on MTV and that's saying something.

It's the same thing over and over again though. Either a group of loud black people who can't ever win any money, or a bunch of hipster douche spouts who would probably rather be fixing their hair or making out with each other.

I figured after hearing about the wrestling progrem they had, that these were people wanting to get face time and move into acting, because it's really obvious when they want to be noticed.
They're so bad at it though, but hey whatever floats your boat.

I think it's hilarious, personally. Really fun show.

I like the MTV version better because I like to cheer against the contestants I don't like. I also like the fact that any "celebrity" on the show doesn't have to play for charity. The host is kind of cute too. Silent Libray, True Life, and ABDC are the only MTV shows I like.

Yes, that is MTV, pretty much. I don't suppose they could show music videos or something like that.

1 - It makes me want to punch myself in the eye.
2 - If it was an original MTV idea, instead of from Japan, I wager it'd do the same to most of you, too.

SO annoying. They have more fake laughs than Cole and Lawler on RAW

I think its hilarious. Of course if you don't understand Jackass you won't understand this show.
Some mtv shows are pretty good. This one might be better than even Boiling Point.
Another new show on mtv called If you Really Knew Me is also really good. It basically takes the idea of that part in breakfast club where they all sit around talking about there problems and they have actual high school kids do it. It can be a really emotional show if you can relate with the problems they talk about which most everyone could.

I decided to venture into the wacky world of MTV a few weeks ago so I could actually see what it was I was blindly hating.
I was right. I didn't last more than a minute and a half on that show before I turned it off. Or gouged out my eyes, I really don't remember which I did as I've now blocked the day from my memory. f*** MTV.
