That really make you feel old because of it. I'd have to say VHS. It's crazy that what was once the end all be all of home media is already a retro item. Actually, you could say that with any form electronics but with the VHS it doesn't seem like it should be retro yet, makes me feel old

I've always hated the word retro. It's taken from the word retrospect which means to look back in thought. There is no time frame. I could be thinking of that awesome pizza I had last night and that would be retro.
But if we are using it to describe things from childhood or times gone by, then I'd have to say hearing the end themes of most older cartoons gives me "retro" feelings. they remind me of how I used to have to leave for school/church/babysitters/home,etc after my cartoons were over. So now when I hear the old themes I get a feeling like I should be going some where.

I happen to own a CRT HDTV. A 32 inch that weights in at around 150 pounds.

Anything from the 90s because that is when I was a kid. I literally turned 13 in 2001 so the 90s were pretty much my whole childhood.

Also, how does it compare with the Plasma and LCD resolution screening? I haven't noticed any increase of my electric bill and the resolution is 1080i, and seems to be on par with the LCD/Plasmas available at the time, which was about 5 years ago.

VHS tapes, which I still use on a regular basis. Sony Walkman CD and Tape players. Hell, audio cassettes in general (and CD's are almost "retro" at this point).

Yeah I know, I remember I use to watch Saturday Morning cartoons from like 7 AM to noon or so. Garfield and Friends, Aladdin, etc. Kids are really missing out.

My brother has a lot of VHS tapes and still records the old-fashioned way.
I also love old video game systems, like the Super Nintendo.

Sunday Morning cartoons? *chuckle* I dunno, I'd bring it back but for the sole purpose of being what it should be, shilling out kid toys. That would at least helps parents buy crap and help the economy.

-CD players -Floppy Disks -VHS/VCRs -Dial Up internet/AOL -Decent Saturday Morning Cartoon blocks -Action Figures in General (I see less and less kids play with them.......a lot are playing with a Nintendo DS or PSP) -Awesome toy commercials (go back to the action Figure point) -Family Fun Centers/Chucky Chesse or other places like these (also am seeing less and less of them)

Well, minus AOL. The Land Line Phones and punch cards are beyond stupid too. Also... Radios with dials. (I actually remember by high school, in the few classes like art where we had them, I would tune them most of the time as barely anyone could do it right and that was like '98-'00. Granted, I was always really good at it, but it's not like it's rocket science or anything. Don't pay attention to the bar as chances are they lie. Just turn it to the station you want and then let the dial roll on your fingers until it sounds the best.)

I would say that the progression of jigsaw puzzles giving way to 3D jigsaw puzzles (I have a jigsaw R2D2 that my mom constructed, in my room) could mean that the premise of the basic jigsaw puzzle is retro.
