Cena's is obviously going to regain the belt since it's in his "hometown". I can't wait to splash him with a cold beverage...in an attack of violence of course.

They should put Hogan and Orton in a Cage Match...ya know, because he's probably going to keep running from Hulk and to keep him off Brooke.

DX will have a match. I don't care what it is though. Cena vs Edge for the WWE title in Cena's hometown might main event unless Hogan wants the spot Mysterio vs Chavo King Booker vs Batista for the World title Shelton vs Carlito vs Nitro in a Triple Threat Ladder Match for the IC title Foley vs Flair Hogan vs Orton Undertaker will have a match and they might squeeze RVD vs Big Show on there too

Orton vs Hogan: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
I hope this damn thing isn't the main event, even though I think it will be...just like last year Egomania ran wild as HBK vs Hogan was the main event.
Looking forward to see Booker T defend the title against hopefully Mysterio or Benoit.
Edge against RVD would be nice, but I doubt it.

It looks like ECW is trying to book Big Show vs. Sabu at SummerSlam. At the PPV, I think might also see a tag match between Test and Knox against Dreamer and Sandman.

SummerSlam matchups that I expect:
Hogan vs. Orton: already taken care of.
WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH) Edge vs. Cena: since we've already seen these guys go at it so many times, I think they need to make this a cage match, ladder match or a HIAC.
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH) Booker T vs. Batista: I'd like to see Mr. Kennedy get tossed in there and make it a triple threat match, but I don't think the WWE is ready to push Kennedy this suddenly.
ECW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH) Big Show vs. Rob Van Dam: RVD returns soon from his 30-day suspension, and he's going to want the belt that was "stolen" from him.
Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero: there's no question about this one. Its just a matter of time.
I think if you toss these five matchups on the card, along with some other matches, SS06 might turn out to be very VERY good.

I think if you toss these five matchups on the card, along with some other matches, SS06 might turn out to be very VERY good. Orton vs Hogan: I'll enjoy it so long as I get to see Hogan no-sell the RKO. Big Show vs RVD: Won't happen unless RVD loses thanks to Mr. Damm's recent legal snafu. Would be more likely to be Sabu vs Big Show. Edge vs Cena: I'll enjoy it so long as its some sort of gimmick match like in a cage or something. Rey Vs Chavo: Sorry folks, Chavo aint Eddie, he never has been, and never will be. I expect this one to be a rather dull match. Book vs Batista Man: I know most people won't agree here, but Batista needs to beat Booker in an all out squashfest. Why? Without the mega babyface as the champ, Smackdown is all but dead and buried. Personally, I can think of a few cross-promotional matches they could add, that I would enjoy seeing. The Spirit Squad vs. London and Kendrick: Elimination rules, winner keeps the unified tag titles but must compete on both shows. Carlito vs Nitro for the IC title: I'd go for this, so long as Carlito won the belt. Carlito has deserved a big push for a long time now. Finlay vs Matt Hardy for the US title: I'd go for this so long as they stopped used Matt Hardy as a jobbing machine, and gave him a well deserved US title reign by beating Finlay. Undertaker vs The Great Collie in a casket match: I'd dig to see it, so long as they booked it as a complete squashfest with taker completely dominating collie through the entire match and it got him off TV for good.

Hogan vs Orton: having to go back to pumping Orton up as the Legend Killer, he needs to be in the title, only thing to make this interesting is to have a stip where Orton wins he gets to go on a date with Brooke.
Cena vs Edge: got to have this match with some type of gimmick: Boston Street Fight or something
ECW Title: probably Sabu vs Show which would be awesome
Rey vs Chavo: how long will the Eddie stuff go on, I like Eddie and all but they milked it to much.
Taker and Kane against Khali and Daviri in double casket match
another ECW match
World title Booker T against whomever(Benoit might be good, or Mr. Kennedy but it probably be him and Batista on the card
figure they'll throw in some diva contest in there.
I like to see someone against Mike Knox and the winner gets Kelly's services.

SummerSlam should feature the actual Punjabi Prison Match between Undertaker and Khali, except now there should be a bunch of people standing in the aisle chanting "Poonjabi, Poonjabi, Poon. Poonjabi, Poonjabi, Poon" before the match begins.

About a month in advance, here is my predictions for the entire card, open-to-close for SummerSlam 2006.
WWE CHAMPIONSHIP (LADDER MATCH): Edge (c) vs. John Cena *I expect this to be a ladder match, because SummerSlam has a history of ladder matches (more than any other PPV)*
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: King Booker (c) vs. Batista vs. Mr. Kennedy
ECW CHAMPIONSHIP: Big Show (c) vs. Rob Van Dam *Despite the legal issues, I still expect Van Dam to return soon and challenge the Show*
INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP: Johnny Nitro (c) vs. Carlito vs. Shelton Benjamin *Yep...again*
WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: Spirit Squad (c) vs. The Highlanders
UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP: Finlay (c) vs. Chris Benoit
HARDCORE MATCH: Mick Foley vs. Ric Flair
INTERPROMOTIONAL MATCH: Undertaker vs. Umaga *pending the return date of The Great Khali*
Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Orton
D-Generation X vs. The McMahons
Rey Mysterio, Jr. vs. Chavo Guerrero
Tommy Dreamer vs. Test

SPOILERS...
...in wwe.com's profiles of Cena and Edge they tell us that they will have a match at SummerSlam. In that match Cena can win the title by a pinfall, a submission, a countout, or a DQ.
Hmmm, Edge gets either Cena disqualified or he.....no he won't.

Hmmm, Edge gets either Cena disqualified or he.....no he won't. I think the only spoiler is the stipulation being added, I mean who else on Raw would face Edge for the WWE title? They've got no faces, apart from HBK,HHH and Flair. So it's pretty much a lock that it would be Cena/Edge.

According to WWE.com, Lashley is medically cleared to come back to SmackDown, so naturally, he will face Finlay for the US Championship at SS06.

I really hope Hulk Hogan does not put Randy Orton over. In regards to who should win: Who's gonna be on raw the following night? Hogan winning isn't going to help WWE at all. I can see Melina/Trish being added to card, and it could end up being Trish's last match. It'd be nice to see her pass the torch to Melina on her way out. Cena/Edge: I've not been to thrilled with their feud thus far and can't see that changing anytime soon.
