I was in a debate with a friend if you took the top ten (in terms of how well known they are) heros from both companys, which side would win? While you can debate the top ten i've chosen, (actully I finally went with 11), just look at the teams below and pick the winner.
Marvel: Captain American Spider-Man Hulk Iron Man Wolverine (Had to pick one X-Men) Thor Daredevil Ghost Rider Human Torch (Had to pick one Fantastic Four, almost went with Thing) Silver Surfer Punisher
vs.
DC: Superman Batman Wonder Woman Flash Green Latern Aqua Man Hawkman Green Arrow Martian Manhunter Robin Super Boy
Also who would be the survivors?

It'll be a tie. Both sides will kill each other.

It would come down to a stalemate between Batman and Wolverine. They would then fuse into Darkclaw.

IMO, it comes down to Silver Surfer vs Green Lantern. Overall, DC overpowers Marvel due to most of the characters having super-speed. Superman is much stronger than Thor.

I have to go with DC, although Silver Surfer almost made me pick Marvel. Marvel space characters are horrifically overpowered.

Ghost Rider could probably take a good couple of them before going down to Flash or Wonder Woman.

What most MARVEL guys have, the DC guys have, but better. Like for example, Elongated Man and Plastic Man are WAY better super-stretch guys than Mr. Fantastic. And thanks to the Speed Force, all of DC's speedsters own MARVEL's speedsters. I mean for f***'s sakes, The Flash can run so fast he time travels! On the other hand, as you said, any MARVEL character from space is damn near broken. And of course thanks to Thor and his magical hammer, MARVEL has an answer to Superman. Of course.....DC counters right back with Captain Marvel, who has the strength of Superman, and magical powers, but not Supes' weakness to magic. Oh, and DC's magical characters like The Phantom Stranger and Zatanna are better than MARVEL's magical beings. Hell, TPS is immortal.

Also, something else I'd like to point out, most of MARVEL's characters are always in a team. MARVEL's guys rely a lot on teamwork to get the job done. DC, however, has all their teams made up of heroes that can clearly get the job done on their own. They just use teamwork when they really need to or if they want the fighting to end quickly.

Depends on your definition of ''Magical'' because I'd ask if Ghost Rider and Thor were included in that group. I'd also disagree about Mr. Fantastic not being as good as Plastic and Elongated Man.

i went with DC because unfortunately the Marvel guys could be taken out singlehandedly by just Batman, Superman or Hal Jordan on their own

Question which versions of these characters are facing each other?
And why does DC get a psychic but marvel doesn't? kind of unfair lol
Anyways i give it to marvel but barely.

Well if you want to include deities, then Thor and Wonder Woman are both counted as magical. Ghost Rider isn't really magical. He's a hellspawn, remember? Also, Mr. Fantastic is smarter than Plastic and Elongated, but he has a stretch limit, remember? He can only stretch so far. Plastic and Elongated Man don't have this limit, or at least Plastic Man doesn't. He can literally take any physical shape possible, no matter the size.

Well Hell=Magic in my book as it's just the domain of a Dark God. And yeah that's what I was going for with Mr. F.

Not Reeds smart, but still smart nevertheless. In regards to Ghost Rider, you know who should fight him? Deadman. That would be a fun fight.

After rereading the topic. Marvel wins. The battle is to the death, and Marvel's heavy hitters have way less qualms about killing than DC's.
I am talking like Thor and Surfer vs. Lantern and Superman. The Marvel guys value life, but will go the ultimate solution route faster.

I would really like to pull off Ghost Rider and replace him with Nova. Honestly if anyone should get pulled it's Daredevil. Nah, because it unbalances the street level characters too much. Daredevil is there along the lines of Robin, Bats, and Arrow. Marvel's side is Cap, Daredevil, and at a stretch Wolvie and Punisher. Ghostrider can fight Deadman or Entrigan, possibly Blue Devil. How this would go down. Both sides rush in, Frank Castle stands back and snipes. He shots Hal in the head and goes and steals his ring and kills everybody.
