Seriously, for being the inventor of rock and roll, dude kinda blows. Very sloppy technique.

Whoa, this is heavy.
Though I blame Marvin Berry.

of course he was sloppy. Is anything crisp and pristine right when it starts? He just paved the groundwork for the other guitarists to come along with more shine, more precise playing. He didn't have to be perfect, he just had to be.

Chuck Berry has one awesome cousin. Here's this guy who is a musician himself, obviously struggling because he has to play a high school dance. Then he hears this new kind of music that's never been heard before and everyone is digging it. And what's the first thing that comes to his mind? "I better call cousin Chuck!!!!!"

He didn't have to be perfect, he just had to be. I hate to get mushy, but this is one of the most beautiful things I've ever read.

Chuck must be a hell of a mind, he hears about half a song over the phone and is able to put together the entire thing from that.

Where the hell's he got to be? Especially when he was making more money doing that gig than most people make in an entire week. $75

Who the hell is Marty McFly? I know of this Calvin Klein kid, but I've never heard of McFly.

Wouldn't the lyrics to Johnny B. Goode have changed? Marty is playing the song from his time but since we know the future changed because of his actions, Chuck Berry heard the song but so did a gymnasium full of people. Berry couldn't have heard all the lyrics or even all the music. So since he heard some of it, he'd have to make it differently.

Well, his traveling back in time somehow altered his guitar ability and the appearence of his girlfriend. No biggie.
