I mean the band was going to be on Wake Up San Francisco. Usually the host of a local program like that would have passes to a show if he was gonna be promoting it either through the station or a hookup from their management. That combined with the 2 tickets DJ won would have been enough to get most of them in if they leave Joey home with Michelle. In fact, where the hell was Michelle when they were all on stage? She must have been left home alone playing with electrical outlets right under the leaky roof.

This episode (at least I think it was this episode) has one of my favorite lines of the series
Danny Tanner: You watch Wake Up San Francisco because it's nice, and easy. Well this morning, I had a little too much coffee, so we're gonna do it nice... and rough.

Because nobody wants Bob Saget at their show?

Because it's fake and scripted. It's a sitcom, it wasn't a real talk show. They needed a story, that's why.

According to Brian Wilson, "We could open our asses on live TV and people would still want to see us, give us their goddamned money. We don't need this s***. F*** that guy, Danny Tanner. F*** him in his face." Don't quote me on that, though, I haven't seen the episode in almost 2 decades, so my memory of this may be a little off.

You'd think at the very least Uncle Jesse could get him tickets. He was their snorking drummer for a while.
