They're remaking the commodore 64!

Basically, they're putting a new computer in a replica commodore 64 case which will be available for the holiday season.

I want one.

It really makes me feel old since I've seen these "Commodore comes again" news come out since the mid 90's. Sometimes it's a collection of games in a joystick, sometimes it's a whole new computer.

But who would want that kind of a computer? The tall case makes it hard to type and if I recall the Commodore keyboard felt something like a mechanical typewriter(I'm typing this on a 20 year old IBM Model M so no hypocrisy here) and it's going to look odd plugged to a modern screen and mouse.

The only thing I can imagine is a retro HTPC connected to a TV for playing light games and watching movies.
