So, as most metal heads know, Dave Mustaine was the originla guitarist of Metallica. A song he wrote for his former band "The Mechanix" was a staple of their early sets. After Mustaine was kicked out, the lyrics were rewritten as "The Four Horsemen" and Kirk Hammet added a melodic solo. Dave later formed Megadeth and brought Mechanix with him and recorded with them on their first album. So which version do you prefer?

This is a tough one, but I went with Horsemen.
Only because the lyrics to Mechanix are HORRIBLE.
And that solo in the mid section is absolutely awesome.

I'll have to go with Metallica here, simply because I like Hetfield's singing over Mustaine's.

Horsemen is a better song but credit to Dave and I like the mechanix's speed. The Megadeth lyrics are far inferior though and Metallica fleshed it out and made it better.

I far prefer Megadeth to Metallica in general, but Four Horsemen is the plain better song.

Almost forgot to vote lol I prefer Horsemen, in a perfect world it'd be the Mechanix tempo w/ Horsemen lyrics.
